Basinview Lakeside Mountain Escape - All Season Getaway!
Fantastic 2 BD 3 BA ski/lake condo, updated for comforts but retaining its rustic charm. Rare layout for this complex - top of the building unit has 2 bedrooms upstairs each with ensuite bathrooms to maintain privacy, and extra 1/2 bath on the main level allowing easy access. Sprawling master bed/bath with king log frame bed and floor/crib space, dual sinks, walk in closet, glass-enclosed shower and jacuzzi tub. 2nd BD with queen and queen loft, spacious closet, shower in bath. Queen pull-out in living room (6+2). Spacious deck with cafe seating and propane BBQ grill. Stainless appliances, flat screen smart TV, DirecTV plus wired for BYO streaming stick.
Spring, Summer, Winter, or Fall, this is a great staging location. Foot access to Anderson Cove beach provides wintertime ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing access, and summertime fishing, SUP/kayaking, and picture perfect beach days. World-class road and mountain biking abound right from the front door. 4 season hiking - waterfalls, canyons, knife-edge ridges, overlooks, and amazing scenery all around. Anchor your boat offshore overnight and avoid launch ramp craziness while still getting a great night's sleep. This complex is 10 minutes from ultra-luxe Snowbasin and is the closest nightly lodging youâll find, summer or winter. The ski bus stops immediately prior to Snowbasin, and youâll be the first to be let off at the end of the day (Note: 2024 - bus stop is now at the adjacent campground). 30 minutesâ drive gets you to Powder Mountain, a unique European-style resort where you park at the top and ski down into the bowls. Backcountry opportunities abound. No matter what season, pick a direction and go!
Community pool (summer), wading pool (summer) and (actually hot!) hot tub (year round). Tennis/pickleball and basketball courts (summer). Billiards, foosball and not the world's most elaborate gym await you in the clubhouse. Bonus: we are directly across from the community hot tub.

(Any advertisement for a Short Term Rental Property in unincorporated Weber County, UT, that does not provide a unique license number is unlikley to be a lawfully licensed Short Term Rental. This is a major controversy in the Valley.) Please also note the 'Host Fee' is a 'Cleaning Fee'. We do not charge a Host Fee.

Practicalities: Although only 45 minutes from SLC airport, Ogden Valley is a world apart. A rental car is strongly recommended. If you donât come with a car, you will need to plan on being entirely self-sufficient. There are a limited number of restaurants, bars, and cafes, and one market for groceries and supplies in The Valley. An international dark sky park, The Valley is to this day mostly farms, ranches, and hard working cowboys and cowgirls. There is only one wine/liquor store in The Valley, but Utahâs own â5% by volumeâ beer is available at gas stations etc (and donât miss the distillery!). Youâll need to make your own nightlife, if thatâs your thing.

What sets this unit apart?
1. Extra bathroom on main level - each upstairs bedroom has its own plus convenient access on the main floor is the best of both worlds
2. Directly across from clubhouse/pools/hut tub - no trudging through snow or freezing on your way back after a relaxing soak.
3. A moderate walk from the ski bus turnaround (Note: as of Winter 2023/4 the bus stop has been moving around locally - pls check rideuta dot com route 675 for details)
4. West facing - tons of windows on both southwest facing floors allow plenty of natural light for bright and warm afternoons and youâll have beautiful sunsets right from the living room!
5. Top floor deck - no-one looking down at you during apres ski/happy hour or while sunbathing or just hanging out on the deck.
6. Not least - the views! One of the few units with both lake and full Snowbasin views - straight down the lift line of John Paul at Snowbasin, Pineview reservoir to the right.
7. Backs to National Forest with a major creek just off the deck - Deer, Moose, Raptors of all sorts. Great for birders, photographers, and junior naturalists - bring your binoculars!
