Ibex Housing was developed by AWT Logistic, LLC which is comprised of a talented team of oilfield executives, civil engineers, and management professionals. Our Vision with Ibex Housing was to develop the most comfortable, low density, safe, and affordable temporary housing solution for todayâs Permian Workforce.
We carefully designed a housing complex that would encourage restful sleep and relaxation during the other 12 hours by ensuring that no more than 14 homes per 2 acre lot was constructed. Too many man camps and lodges have packed far too many workers into small lots, which causes stress. With oilfield safety being a top priority we know that well-rested workers are safer workers in the field.
The Permian Basin is still at the beginning of a long-term boom many insiders believe, while some estimated 50,000 + workers are still migrating here for work. Providing quality housing solutions for their workers is an effective way to recruit and retain workers for local oilfield drilling, completion, service, pipeline, and production companies.
â We saw the greed associated with overbuilding and populating on small sites, making housing operators rich quickly at the expense of ethical living conditions for workers... we felt we could do betterâ.
â We are going to keep acquiring land in quiet areas and continue to develop small, boutique lodging solutions throughout the Permian.â

Peace & Quiet
No other man camp or housing facility can put peace and quiet on their list of amenities, but we feel strongly that these intangibles are one of the strongest selling points of Ibex Housing. Located just 3 miles west on CR30 from FM1788 in Gardendale, which is a small farm and ranch area just 12 minutes north of Midland Odessa Airport. Since no major highways are running in front of our property, there is never any high traffic or semi-truck noise. Since we only put 250 room units on a property that most lodges would put in 1600âŠits always quiet day and night. â
âHigh-Speed WiFi
Most Wi-Fi in the West Texas area is very slow, many reaching speeds of just 10-20 MPS of bandwidth. This makes it very hard for todayâs mobile device enabled worker to quickly access web pages, emails, and digital stream content to smart TVs or mobile devices. Ibex Housing spared no expense in contracting AT&T to bring fiber optic cable to the site so we can distribute up to 100 MPs in internet speed. This is enough to watch Netflix, Apple TV and Prime movies and music without the chance of buffering for a better entertainment experience.
Cleaning Service & Laundry
âWe have a full-time cleaning crew at Ibex Housing to ensure twice weekly housing and room cleaning including bedding changes. We have also installed two laundry rooms with 24-hour access 10 sets of free washers and dryers in each laundry room to ensure full-time access to clean clothes. We also introduced a separated relaxation room with wall mounted TVâs and club chairs to pass the time while cleaning your work clothes. Staircases & entry doors are also pressure washed each week to help minimize dirt being tracked into living spaces.
