This beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom house underwent a total renovation in 2025, it's brand new. Located on one of the best canals on Longboat Key with quick access to a semi-private beach and Longboat Pass for gulf fishing or cruising within minutes. Longboat Pass is also home to one of the best sand shoals on the west coast to beach up to and hang out all day.

The property has a large heated pool and a new, large dock with space for a 23' foot boat. There is a floating dock which is fantastic for launching and storing kayaks or paddle boards during your stay. To adult bicycles, helmets and locks are provided for guests to use. The beautiful, white sand, semi-private beach is within a 5 minute walk down the street. Bring your boat and enjoy a fantastic time in the sun by the pool, at the beach or on your boat. Other easy boating options include hiring Captain Jim, the neighbor in the house to the left, for sunset cruises or day cruises and renting from nearby Cannon's Marina.

The house was beautiful, immaculate and sparkling clean, and in a great location. Jeff was very accommodating and responsive to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Jeff made sure our stay was excellent. He even provided a bottle of wine for us, do treats for Layla and a personal note. He was an excellent host!

This home had absolutely everything that you could need or want. They thought of everything. It was also immaculate. We went kayaking almost daily (we rented kayaks) from their floating dock. We also went fishing from the dock and caught a lot of fish. The pool was clean and warm. As a bonus the neighbors on the street were very friendly. The owners were also very prompt with any questions.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Beach Bungalow. When my husband and I walked into the home, we both said wow, this is awesome. As our guests arrived, they all complemented how nicely it was decorated and every room was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the furniture. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the WiFi worked great, both indoors and outdoors.The pool was a big hit with the kids and adults and the beach was less than a ten minute walk. The wagon, beach chairs and beach games were an added plus for our days at the beach. Our host Jeff was so accommodating during our month stay. His response time to any questions we had was very prompt. One of the outdoor umbrellas blew over and a piece snapped off causing it not to work. I notified Jeff and there was a new one at the front door the next day. If we ever need a place to stay, this would definitely be our first choice. Thanks Jeff for making our vacation a memorable one. Marianne and Steve

This house was beautiful inside and out

I would highly recommend renting this property The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach through a quiet neighborhood The heated pool was an added bonus after the beach. Perfection on Longboat Key

This property, and its owner, is truly exceptional by any standard. The house exceeded our expectations: beautifully decorated, fully equipped, comfortable furniture, great location, very responsive owner, and a gorgeous pool. Hope to be back many times in the future, starting with next year!

The best VRBO experience ever

This is our second year at this beautifully maintained and located home. The owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with: incredibly fracious and responsive. We are frequent vrbo users and have never had a better experience. We shall be back. Highly recommend.

House had all the amenities; owner was super responsive; location was terrific; lay out and furnishings were perfect. Wish I could provide any criticism but there were none! ( Easy walk to beach, got kayaks delivered to the dock, and the neighborhood is terrific!)

Something for Everyone!

This property has it all. From the moment I booked the property, I knew it was going to be a perfect spot for our family. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and extremely attentive. This updated contemporary house had just about everything we needed. It was nicely decorated, stocked well, extremely clean, with a beautiful, heated pool on the canal.. The location is fabulous, super close to the beach, bike rentals and tennis close by. We were sad to leave and hope to rent again when we return to LBK.

Simply amazing!

What a spectacular stay and what an amazing host we had in Jeff. The location is perfect. The cleanliness, decor, organization, amenities, etc. are outstanding (and I’ve stayed in several LBK homes) and we cannot wait to return! It’s literally as simple as packing your clothes and feeling right at home. Current and future guests…. Be on the lookout for bald eagles, osprey,, kestrels and the list goes on. The neighbors are very friendly, the weather top notch and did I mention the attentiveness of the host?! In lieu of writing a short story here, I will wrap it up and say that yes, though I hate to give away my secret(or not so!) place, Norton street is the place to be on Longboat Key! Thank you Jeff!! Can’t wait to return!!

Amazing Family Vacation!

Our first time to Longboat is a trip we’ll never forget. We highly recommend paddle boarding (we brought our own) or kayaking in the mornings to see dolphins against the sea walls. When you exit the canal, turn left into the bay for a shallow and calm area. The beach is a short bike ride with gorgeous turquoise water. The house is very spacious, beautifully decorated, very clean and was well stocked with everything our family needed. Shore was our favorite restaurant for fine dining, Mar Vista & Dry Dock for more casual and Harry’s for brunch and take out (don’t be fooled by the corner store out front) the restaurant and deli behind are both excellent! Our boys enjoyed the fishing poles at the house, the pool, beach toys provided and large tv’s that included streaming apps. Jeff was very responsive and reacted quickly to one issue we had related to losing power. We highly recommend this home & area!!

Our stay March 2022

Very nice and well-maintanied property. Incredibly well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. Pool was great and yard secured for our dog. There were many amenities that we never had occasion to use like bikes. Owner has really gone out of his way to make this house comfortable.

Great Place to Stay

All on one level. Convenient location for Beach and great restaurants. Attached Garage just like home. Friendly neighbors on Norton street. Most everything is brand new: appliances and furnishings. Large master bedroom. Bright interior in all rooms. Very nice backyard with pool and grass. Family room view to pool was like being outside. Just an all round great place to stay.

Excellent Winter Retreat on Longboat Key

This property is one of the best on the island! It is located centrally so you are close to all of the best spots and many Marinas if you're interested in water activities. It's also very close to great shopping at St. Armands Key and many island favorite restaurants. The owner has thought of everything. The bedrooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable and the linens are top of the line -- very comfortable. Beach access is less than a 5 minute walk and the backyard pool and lounge area is beautiful too! The owner has provided beach chairs and a wagon if you're headed to the beach for the day. We will definitely be back. Loved it!

Fantastic property!

This is a beautifully decorated, extremely clean and comfortable home in a terrific location. Great pool area and easy beach access. We were able to work from home here successfully, very good internet connection. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to work in and there are several excellent restaurants nearby. Opportunities for walking, fishing, kayaking and biking are available nearby. We highly recommend staying here and would return.
