Welcome to "Shore Dream'n" (NH-41). This lovely home is perfectly located with just a short walk to the beach, shops and dining! A beautiful semi-ocean front house with great ocean and sound views, and a nice large layout that provides plenty of space for your next family vacation. From the many separate sitting areas, the large chef's kitchen, the two different rec. rooms or the large pool deck, there is something for everyone to love! No need to leave your furry friends behind. This home allows up to two dogs are allowed with an additional $210 (plus tax) pet fee.

2026 FREE Pool Heat 03/23/2026 - 6/5/2026 and 8/29/2026 - 10/09/2026. Outside these dates, pool heat can be added for an additional fee of $250 (plus tax). Pool opens from 03/28/2026 - 10/23/2026. The pool heat will only work if the air temp is 60 degrees and is only capable of heating the pool to 10 degrees above the ambient air temperature. 


Top Level: Ships watch with sunrise deck. Great room with ocean views, deck, comfortable seating, TV. Large kitchen with a large island (4 bar stools) dining room (9 chairs) with sound views, deck access. King MBR w/ TV, jacuzzi tub.

Mid-Level: Ocean view sitting area with desk/ workspace, Queen bedroom w/ ocean facing deck TV shares jack 'n' jill bedroom w/ another Queen bedroom w/ TV, sound facing deck access. Queen MBR w/ Sound deck, TV and Jacuzzi tub. Laundry with washer and dryer.

Ground Level: Two different rec rooms! One with a pool table a full size refrigerator, and one with foosball and a comfortable sitting area w/ TV. Deck access to pool area. Full hall bath. Bedroom w/ a bunk bed and a bedroom w/ 2 twin beds.

Outside: Private pool (12x24), private hot tub, outdoor shower, fish cleaning station

Extras: Private heated pool (12x24) 2025 Pool Dates 3/29/25-10/24/25, 2026 Pool Dates 03/23/2026 - 10/23/2026. pets accepted (2 dogs max) with and additional $210 (plus tax) pet fee, private hot tub, outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, 8 smart TVs, Washer, Dryer, Iron, Ironing Board, Gas Grill, full size refrigerator in pool table room, dishwasher, central AC and Heat, Parking: 4, Distance to beach: 100 yards, 3200 Sq. feet.

Cancellations: If, after your initial payment, you need to cancel your reservation, every attempt will be made to re-rent the property. All notices of cancellation must be in writing. If the property is re- rented at full price, you will receive a full refund of moneys paid, less a $150 cancellation fee, travel insurance premium (if purchased) and all applicable taxes. If the property is able to be re-rented, but at a discounted rate from what was paid, you will be refunded your rental payment, less the difference in the rental rate and the $150 cancellation fee. If the property is not able to be re-rented, you will forfeit all moneys paid to this reservation.

Getaway trip

Fit 6 adults comfortably. Driveway was a bit of a tripping hazard. Some towel holders and toilet paper holders are not secure to the wall so be cautious of using some thing before inspecting them. Overall a good stay.

The house was not as close to beach as indicated.

We had a great time. The house could have been cleaner. The floors were very dirty. I’m not sure my white socks will ever come clean. I would suggest mopping them every time.

Great getaway!

Great location and very clean!! We all had a great time. We were even able to check in early which was very nice.. The only thing we noticed were a few of the chairs were pretty wobbly and a few nails on the deck sticking up. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent Stay

This property exceeded my expatiations. There were a couple of minor issues, but they were promptly addressed. The location was perfect for our family needs with plenty to do withing 10 miles. We had one rainy/windy day but there was plenty of space to roam around and locations so everyone of the 9 in our party could find a place to do what they wanted. Yes, I would do it again.

The property lived up to our expectations; the description and pictures on VRBO were accurate. The house was spacious with plenty of room for the family to spread out and even enjoy private time in the little nook on the top floor referred to as the ship watch. We enjoyed the ocean view from the front top deck. The house was ready on time and clean upon our arrival. I would recommend this property to others.

The size of the house was good the upkeep not so.

The size of the property was ok. However we feel it was missing maintenance and upkeep. Such as a not working dishwasher is disturbing also the seating and mattresses are worn out.

Renter beware

This house had major issues and no nothing was updated since last poor reviews as we had hoped. We did not use the entire lower level, 2 bedrooms due to bugs, spiders and horiable smell. Kids stayed one night in it and had bug bites. The company did send out a pest control person. We were told stay out of the house for 3 hours then open windows to vent. We did. still smelled horiable and we were not able to use. I did ask for a price adjustment and was told no. we sent out pest control and it's fine. It was not. All the outdoor furniture by pool is broken and not comfortable . The top floor chair has a board sticking out of and can't use. The freezer door handle falls off every time you pull it. They said they fixed it. it kept falling off. The top floor sliding door, the 1st day the handle fell off in the locked position, couldn't open or use. When this listing says linens included. that is only your sheets. No bathmats, no handtowels, no kitchen washclothes or handsoap. We had to do a quick Walmart run and buy it all. We did get a last min email about the towels to bathe and washclothes. We brought those as well as beach towels. The living room coffee table be careful not to bump; if you do.. the front falls off. The beds are very old and very worn out. Our kids slept on cots and the couch. We have been renting beach houses for over 20 years. Never had this many issues in our life. We won't be staying here again or ever using this company. It almost became comical when someone touched anything and it broke. Also be sure to put the dryer on time dry only. Otherwise it never shuts off. The only good thing about this place was the location and the pool, which had sand in it when we arrived. was large and fun. The hot tub was also clean. We added water as it was very low, but that was not big deal. Now you know. Be ware.

Great expectations with an underwhelming ending

This property has great potential. It is spacious and has potentially great amenities as well. However, the property is run down and not kept very well. The hose by the pool was broken, the cover to the hot tub was rusty and broken. The hot tub itself didn't function properly. The buttons were worn and not legible. Therefore we couldn't get all the jets to work. The screens were torn and flapping in the wind. There were literally rotten boards around the soffit and facia on the outside roofline. In the top floor master bathroom, the window over the tub leaked down the wall and into the tub when it rained. The privacy blocks actually filled with water as well. The screen door out to the deck from the same room was broken and flapping in the wind. The kitchen was invaded with ants. We did our best to try to get rid of them, however, since there were preexisting traps around the kitchen, I am guessing that someone already knows they are a problem. The cable didn't work in one of the bedrooms. After fighting with the cable company and sacrificing our vacation time to sit at the house for missed appointments, someone finally came to fix it. Three hours later he "fixed" the problem in that bedroom, however the cable in the whole house then randomly went in and out periodically. We had to keep turning the boxes on and off to make it work. The entire house had a musty smell to it, especially in the basement. The week itself was tough due to the weather, but it makes all of these issues that more noticeable. We have rented from almost all of the rental companies in the OBX. We have been coming down for over 15 years with our family and friends. I can definitely say that this year was the most disappointing trip yet. I don't know that we will use VRBO or Leslie's Vacations in the future. The worst part is that we had some "First timers" with us and I am sad that they think this is what the OBX rentals are promoting.

Wonderful Stay!

The house was great and an extremely short walk to the beach (maybe 4 minutes). The house had all the amenities needed and more than what was even listed. Very clean and the private pool/hot tub made the house even better. Size of pool was great as well. Would definitely return. The rental company was very quick in responding with the few things we needed. Great stay!
