Very good place...ALMOST great.

Checkin was easy and painless; location was very good but they lock back gate so you need to drive thru the whole complex every time you leave; house was very good, clean and well appointed; comfortable beds and furniture; ONLY issue was that there is a helicopter charter about 2 blocks away...starting at about 10 am throughout the day, helicopters are flying over you very low 2-3 times per hour. You get used to it, but it is still loud. If you are out and about during the day no real issues and it is not too early or late to disturb your sleep. Sorry but need to be accurate on my review. Still, as noted, it is a very good location and facility.

Good experience overall but not without its flaws

The cabin itself was quaint, though some furniture a bit “tired” looking. Could have used a larger frying pan and other kitchen items - if we’d had the max of 6 guests, we would have lacked for dishes and other things in the kitchen. Could have used larger qty of supplies - toilet paper, soap for dishwasher, paper towel, bath towels - without having to travel to check-in. That was a huge inconvenience on check-in day especially. Overall a good experience tempered with some inconveniences. Location was great and neighborhood was picturesque. We tried watching a video but was not connected properly. When office was notified, tech appeared in a timely fashion but was unable to fix the DVD problem, and left the TV unhooked resulting our being unable to use it. Very annoying!

Beautiful Cabin near Tanger Shopping

Have stayed in Grand Cabins many times. This cabin is well furnished and very nicely decorated 
note during the day you will be near the helicopter flight that lands and takes off 1/4 mile away. Otherwise great stay!!

Good stay overall

We enjoyed our trip. The location is good in that you can get in and out without terrible traffic depending on where you’re going and overall traffic burden, but you’re close to everything. A couple things that left something to be desired: 1. The cabin we stayed in (the very last one in the group) was a bit dated. The beds weren’t very comfortable, the spring squeaked anytime you move and the pillows weren’t great. We should have taken our own pillows so maybe part of that is on us. 2. None of the cabinets had pulls on the doors. I don’t get that. It seems small but it’s cheap to pull pulls on the cabinets so they’re more easily accessible. 3. I didn't like our location on the property. We were the last unit which borders a very busy and loud road, plus the helicopter tour was only right up the street so you’re constantly listening to helicopters come and go, which were loud and a bit annoying especially with young kids. If you’re not home at all during the day it’s probably not a big deal.

Fabulous Cabin

We loved our cabin the minute we walked in the door! The grandkids loved it and my husband was thrilled with the recliner! We plan to stay again!

Short family get away

Great location, convenient to several attractions but feels secluded. The cabin was roomy, very clean and beds were very comfy. Staff were attentive and quick to respond to any requests.
