This waterfront property was a slice of paradise! We cooked at home each night and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Beds were comfy and the lake was pristine for swimming. Access to the property is by ferry only so make sure to check the hours before booking your flights. The host was a pleasure to communicate with. We loved our time there and hope to return!

This house is perfection. Spotless. The beds are insanely comfortable. Perfectly stocked kitchen. The view is beautiful. And being on the island made for a deeply relaxing vacation. We listened to loons, saw a great blue heron, and even had a close encounter with an eagle. We swam every day in the pristine lake. We enjoyed a sunset lake cruise every night (definitely rent their pontoon boat to get the most out of the lake) and then grilled outside. The owners were so helpful and provided all the information we could have possibly needed to enjoy the house, the lake, and the area.

Treasure Island Vacay

My husband and I had our 3 grandkids ages 5-10 for a week and loved every second! There were tears only one night and that was our last night because no one wanted to leave! True sign of an epic vacation is when everyone is sad to leave.

Lovely Lake Retreat

John and Kirsten, the owners of this home are clearly thoughtful, thorough and available. You can feel the love in their home and the care they take to make visitors feel welcome, comfortable and informed about the area. The house is lovely. It is updated and cozy, well equipped, and well laid out… perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms are generous in size and the beds and bedding are quite comfortable. The lake is beautiful, clear and clean. We swam, kayaked and fished daily, making use of the 4 kayaks and canoe at the home for all of our lake activities. The house itself is set on an island that is strictly residential. We found the ferry/taxi to and from the island to be convenient and easy, giving the vacation a private feel without being far from anything we needed!
