Belize Bay Estate - a 50 acre private estate on the Caribbean shore.

Belize Bay Estate is the largest private estate on the Caribbean shores of southern Belize. Our private property is feet from the shore with private entrances to the beach and tropical gardens. The view is dotted with local sail boats and local wildlife including manatee, dolphins, parrots, toucans, and monkeys. We are driving distance to mayan ruins, caves, and waterfalls and nearby islands. Private tours available.

Accommodations are on the 2nd floor over looking our over sized private swimming pool and the Belize Bay. The entire property is gated and exclusive just for you. Ideal for short or long term stays.

Sit on your balcony or walk the jungle paths among our local wildlife of many exotic birds, monkeys, & occasional manatee along miles of the Caribbean shore. In the early mornings and late evenings you can watch our local fishermen cast their nets into the sea.

Bring your swim suite to relax in our big pool or on the beach. Enjoy a day of fishing and snorkeling then grill your catch of the day on our wood grill!

What an amazing place to stay!! Roberto and April were amazing hosts. The space was perfect!! Comfy beds, lots of space and amenities!Lovely veranda style balcony overlooking the pool and the Sea and so much grounds to explore!! Located close to everything and very convenient. Highly recommend!!

The place was just what we needed clean very , beautifully private and comfortable. The pool was great. Loved the two dogs . Roberto very helpful and very useful was available if we needed anything. A great getaway . I highly recommend staying here!

Hillside trip

A great , secluded spot close to the center of Punta Gorda and less than 4 miles to Hillside Clinic where I served as a volunteer. Hosts and property managers were very engaging and helpful. Comfortable studio apartment, private bath, balcony , lovely pool and access to the ocean

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! It is a well-cared for property. The Managers were very available to us. The pool was great. Punta Gorda is a nice quiet town on the ocean. You need a car to get around but we were able to get one. All in all we loved our trip and are planning to return!

Great location right next to jungle and ocean. The house is very nice and has everything you would need for an extended stay. The caretaker was very attentive but not intrusive. Close enough to town to get supplies and a restaurant easily but also far enough from everything that you didn't hear any urban noises. What I did hear each morning was howler monkeys and toucans. The guard dogs are very sweet too. I would recomend this rental to anyone that wants a nice peaceful trip.

No warm water for showersA Big tree and greenery overgrown so you cant see the ocean. Sitting on the veranda and cant see the ocean.The room is old and not updated at all.The best thing was a wonderful property manager! Its the reason we stayed, he is great!

Sharlene, we have never had less than a 5 star review so we are disappointed and surprised by your review and comments. However, we do want our guests to know: Warm-water for the shower is certainly available. Perhaps is was not turned on on per the check-in instructions. The room was remodeled 2 years ago with brand new construction material, including the appliances, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The vaulted Mahogany ceiling and Rose wood railings were not updated in the remodel because the wood is original and authentic from Belize and is irreplaceable! There is a tree on the beach (in the photos) but it certainly does not block the ocean view. Since the tree is home to the local wildlife, including the parrots, toucans, and monkeys, we don’t want to cut it down. We can certainly give it a trim for your next visit. Unique private estate

This is a unique property. The main house on the estate is being renovated so we stayed in the very nice guest house. It was open clean and modern. Well air conditioned and screened. It is above a parking area which raises it up so that you have a grea view of the water from the large porch. The elevation also helps with birding from the porch. The pool is very nice and always clean. There is a secluded sitting area right by the water. The grounds are well maintained and include a large field that my son enjoyed jogging around and It also was ideal for birding since it was surrounded by jungle. The property is fenced,secure and private. Roberto who managed the property was helpful and friendly and available if needed though we never needed anything since everything was provided. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly.

A fantastic experience overall. The estate is beautiful, clean and had everything we wanted. We especially enjoyed the privacy. Roberto and staff were always available to help, answer questions or point us in the right direction. They even helped me with a mechanical problem I was having with the car I rented elsewhere. We will be coming back annually until we move here in a few years.
