Nightmare on 7th Street
Good: location in Camden close to Philly historical sites. If you have a car, there is free parking at the unit.
Bad: Didn’t get the unit we reserved because there was some kind of flooding in it. Check in was a hassle because the “lockbox was broken” and we had to communicate with the host through VRBO, which is a pain. There was no instructions on how to use the tv’s. We never got any programming on either one. If you don’t have a car there is NOTHING within walking distance with the exception of a McDonalds.
Ugly: the most important item in a unit is the mattress. Ours was a concrete slab. We both woke up multiple times a night ( for 5 nights) in pain because of the hardness of the mattress. A couple of nights I had to resort to prescription pain medication. There was sand in the bedsheet, only a bed cover, so it was obvious that the sheet had not been changed recently. The dryer lint catcher was full of lint (should be a cleaning checklist item). Not sure how the dryer even worked and a full lint catcher is a fire hazard. The floor has exposed screw heads and one day in the future, someone is going to slice their foot open on one.
