Sea and Mtn Views-Walk To Cane Bay Beach Cottage

The Landing Beach Resort Longhouse is the ideal location right up the hill of the world famous Cane Bay beach. We chose this unit to be called the Parrotfish because of its "bird eye view" of both mountains and sea. It is a scuba diving paradise to walk out your door right down the hill into the deep blue. On property dive shop and restaurant make it so you never have to leave! Our cottages come fully equipped with the necessities to help you relax during your visit to St. Croix. With this larger end unit you have both mountain and sea views from the front patio and backyard terrace to experience it all!

Win is a wonderful host! The location is perfect for a relaxing vacation.

This property has so much to offer. The cottages are well equipped for cooking. The restaurant on property is the perfect spot for enjoying the view of Cane Bay while relaxing with a good drink and great food!! At the Dive Shop you can get your gear, walk across the road and explore the beautiful waters!! This is such a great location!

Couldn’t be Happier

Cane Bay Beach Cottage Parrotfish unit had everything that my wife and I could have hoped for. Clean room, full size fridge and stove, toaster oven, indoor/outdoor shower, laundry room, AC, WiFi, etc. A close walk to the beach with great snorkeling. The Landing restaurant is right down the hill with great food and drinks. The staff is friendly and very helpful. What a vacation!

Win's The Landing Resort is a great destination.

The location is fantastic for scuba divers as there is an adjascent dive shop for equipment, guided dives from shore and boat and certification dives. The restaurant serves pretty good food - lobster and onion rings were our favorite. Peacocks, peahens and deer roam the property. Just make sure to keep the windows closed when the ac is on.

Great Stay, Great Location, and Great Food

The Parrotfish was exactly as described. It had all that my wife and I needed for our seven night stay. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom and the living area were large. The pillows are flat so if that’s not your style you might want to bring a pillow. It was nice having the washing machine and dryer. It is shared, and we had no issues trying to wash or dry ours. We used it twice meaning we didn’t have to pack so much. The location is great as the beach is a short walk, you a couple peaks of the ocean from the side and more from the back patio. There are great restaurants including The Landing (which we ate at 4 times), Ama and Off the Wall. The owner Win is great and every time you see her she is working hard at something. A great vacation for us. Is it staying at the Marriott or five style resort no, but you’re also not paying that price either. We recommend and will return.

Cane Bay is the place to be!

All of St Croix is amazing, but we could not be happier with our decision to stay at the Cottages @ Cane Bay. Being on the North Shore means access to some of the best beaches in St Croix, and being on property with Sweet Bottom Dive shop is even more convenient! We walked from our rooms to the scuba shop, geared up, and walked into the water for our dives! The Landing restaurant on property is also amazing. Seriously some of the best food we are while on the island, and a 1 min walk from our room! The check in process was smooth as can be. Win, the property owner, is on-site and very accessible if you have questions. She also told us about walking trails on the property, best places to see, etc etc. She's been on St Croix 53 years, so she's quite familiar with the island. As for the actual cottage, it was exactly what we expected based on the pictures. AC works great, being between the beach and the mountain makes for great scenery and sounds. We could sit on the front or back porch depending on what view we wanted. Wildlife on the property is interesting and abundant. Had a very large crab visit our porch one evening. And watched about 10 sea turtles play in the ocean on the beach one evening. The converted longhouses means you share a very very long porch with other residents (you have your own space for sure) which was great for visiting and meeting others on vacation. Pleasantly surprised by the # of spices & staples (sugar, ketchup, coffee) that was in the kitchen, and in the bathroom (body wash, sunscreen, tanning oil, cotton balls). There were also towels for the beach & chairs we could take with us to visit other beached around the island. Can't beat this place for the price. Its not the Taj Mahal, but simplicity & function where 10/10 :-)
