Idyllic Wisconsin Lake Front Cabin on Fabulous Cisco Chain
Easy access off excellent county round in Land O Lakes, Wisconsin. Right on the Cisco Chain of lakes, with a long pier and ample boat mooring area. Newly updated bedrooms, bath, kitchen appliances, and living room with fireplace. Great internet connection, poor cell-phone reception. No TV! Outdoor fire pit. The stars at night are amazing. Five minute car ride to the best tavern-restaurant around, also right on the lake, the historic Bent's Camp.
Clean, very old & dim with minimal maintenance, master bedroom double bed sat almost on the floor, 2nd bedroom very small. Pier was inaccessible due support failure. Overpriced
My husband, myself and our 4 year old had a great stay. Easy to access house, clean, plenty of space and great northwoods charm! Would definitely stay again.
Awesome cabin. BUT, Iâd bring clean water with you. Wife had more of an issue than me on that one.Loved not having a tv.Phonograph was awesome.Crazy record selection.Only disappointment I had was the grill.Propane grill with one (of two) knobs gone.Thought no issue till I was going to turn the propane tank on.There wasnât a tank.If I knew that I would have brought one.Sucked.
We love this Cabin! Very Clean! Spacious and perfect place to relax and enjoy the Northwoods! Chris is fantastic, very responsive, generous and kind. We love our trips to the Northwoods! Will be back!
Chrisâ cabin is great! Itâs in a perfect location between Land Oâ Lakes and Boulder Junction. We easily jumped about to the best restaurants and art studios the county had to offer!
Great, quiet property out in the woods on a beautiful lake. Boat slip for a boat, but a little bit shallow. Great outdoor space for relaxing. Host very responsive
We were very happy with our stay. The place was perfect - clean, well maintained, and everything we needed was provided. If you plan to bring a boat it's a little tricky due to a lot of stumps at the end of the dock but it's well marked. We would definately rent here again!
If you are looking for an actual Northwoods experience, this is the place. I have been visiting the Northwoods of Wisconsin since 1992 and have stayed at many locations. All have their pros and cons. Pros: It is located on a great lake for fishing and is close to other attractions, such as waterfalls and touristy towns like Boulder Junction. Cons: Bring your own drinking water, as the rust is severe on this property, which is typical. Oh, the mosquitos are the state bird up in Valis County, and again, that is just par for the Northwoods. Bottom line, I will be going back to Idyllic this year. Chris has made the cabin very dog-friendly.
We have stayed here multiple times both during the summer and winter. Always an enjoyable time for my husband and I along with our dogs. The view is always amazing and the stay is always without any issues. We will be back again soon!
We loved our week at the cabin and hiking the old growth forests of the Northwoods and U.P.! The cabin is spacious and well equipped with all that you need for a relaxing stay. The night sky is brilliant plus we had the bonus of experiencing the northern lights during three nights of our stay! Chris is a responsive host but we really had no issues throughout the week. We hope to return in the future!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was clean and cozy and very private. Chris was one of the most attentive hosts Iâve ever experienced, any questions and he got back to me immediately. We will definitely come back
Had an absolutely wonderful time staying here with my two small dogs. We did have a few rainy days during our stay and really appreciated all of the books and records to give me something to do. As soon as I entered the house and began to look around I said I couldn't wait to come back. The house was just filled with so many thoughtful little touches from the notebook full of stories from past guests to a stocked bar and chilled glasses in the freezer.
There's no better place to get away from it all. Phenomenal fishing, or just watch wildlife on the gorgeous lakes. Close to many great golf courses, and superb bicycling paths all around. Ten minute car ride to the General Store for fresh coffee and breakfast, or all your staples as well as adult beverages.
Surrounded by six wooded acres, and only one (excellent) neighbor, you are truly alone out here as much as you want to be. The lake is twenty steps from the back porch, and a long pier amidst the lilly pads takes you to a relaxing bench out on the water.
