Villa Akumal, A Peaceful Space for 6 with Private Jacuzzi * Steps to the Beach!

Imagine yourself in one of the most peaceful, laidback towns in the Riviera Maya. This lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa features the clean, modern design with ceramic tile flooring throughout. The open living area provides maximum flow between the cozy living room and dining room (seating for 8) and the well-equipped kitchen. The living room features a sofa, TV, SKY satellite, and WiFi connectivity. The fully-equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and the granite counters offer plenty of workspace along with a bar & 2 bar stools for additional seating. We have a reverse osmosis system in our kitchen so you can enjoy purified water and ice from our fridge. Oversized sliding doors provide plenty of light as well as access to the garden terrace. A washer and dryer are provided, along with amenities such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel and more.....

The main floor bedroom features 2 twin-sized beds and a bathroom located just outside the door. An additional upstairs queen-sized room has an en-suite bath and a small balcony which overlooks the garden. The upstairs master bedroom features a king-sized bed and a balcony with 2 lounge chairs as well as en-suite bath. All of the bathrooms feature marble showers, hair dryers and all basic toiletries.

The most outstanding features of the villa is the beautiful roof terrace with a table & 4 chairs and comfy lounge seating including a 3 seat sofa and 2 chairs. A large umbrella is provided for those of you seeking shade. If you'd like to take a hop in our jacuzzi tub, fill it up to the temperature you like to indulge in an afternoon cocktail or some amazing star gazing! Our jacuzzi offers you added security with our adjacent safety glass.

The beach club for the Tao guests called Jungle Fish is located just a 2 minute walk away!!! Our guests can enjoy the luxuries of the beach club which has a pool, bar, restaurant and lounge chairs and umbrellas. You can also access the second story for an amazing view of the Caribbean and additional seating. If you are looking for some evening entertainment check in with the Jungle Fish staff to see what fun you can enjoy during your stay. That's not all, you have access to the TAO Wellness Center that offers full spa amenities with a gym, exercise lap pools, yoga classes, etc. and access to the Bahia Principe Resort facilities! Akumal is a true paradise with plenty of retreat-like quiet when you need it and lots of activity when you crave it. Great restaurants, turtle watching, and superb snorkeling are only steps away. The location is perfect for day-trips into Tulum (20 mins.) and Playa del Carmen (25 mins.); you are also very close to crystal clear cenotes, ancient Mayan ruins, quaint colonial towns and all that the fabulous Mayan Riviera has to offer. For those of you looking for some adventure we are located near many eco adventure parks for you to enjoy. Some of the most famous in the area are Xel-Ha (15 mins.), Xcaret / Xplor / Xenses (20 mins.) and many more near by.

For those of you traveling in larger groups please don't look elsewhere. We can accommodate larger groups in our other unit, Tao Ocean A3 where we can sleep an additional 6 guests.
