Great stay! Karen was very responsive and helpful in making changes we needed to our dates. The house is great and the view is amazing! Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back.

Loved it all!!!!!!

I hate long reviews so here are the basics. Great communication with the host, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, lots of space, beds were comfy except the upstairs king bed (very hard), kitchen stocked very well, parking under the covered carport was nice, house was clean, had all the essentials and more, WiFi was good, hot tub was great for the kids and fit pit would have been amazing if we could have used it but the rain stopped us. The only issue I had with the stay was the water pressure, not the best. That would NOT keep me from coming back bc everything else was amazing but it’s something to be noted.

A true definition of a fully equipped kitchen

What a beautiful home, the views from the windows, balconies and porch are breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning with a warm cup of coffee to keep off the chilly fall air. We spent Thanksgiving at the house and were very thankful for the fully equipped kitchen that really had thought of everything. I found myself wondering whether they had x, , y or z as i was grocery shopping and the answer was, yes, they had it all. The owners thought of everything, with shampoos, conditioners, lotions and more available to use and unlike some propertys their checkout requests were minimal and not unreasonable. If we ever return to the smokies we would absolutely stay here again. The only challenge we had was that the narrow, steep, winding one lane road up to the house was a little stressful with our big passenger van but thankfully we only met someone once on the road. This is not a downside to the property in any way but something that some visitors might appreciate knowing about.

This home was everything it said it would be. Love the short ride to Bryson City. Beautiful view of the mountains. Great fire pit with wood and awesome chairs.

Perfect! Exceeded every expectation!

We loved everything about our stay in the house on the mountains. The house is spacious and clean. It’s described exactly in the listing. All details about a rental house were obviously carefully considered. The location is perfect. Bryson City is a wonderful launching point to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Nantahala Outdoor Center. Bryson City itself has everything needed for vacation. We explored the whole area but it was always hard to pull ourselves away from the amazing view. Thank you, Karen

incredible views!!!

We met up with our adult children and had a marvelous visit! Easy to get to, great views of the mountains and plenty of space. One of the neighbors has a big fluffy dog that came to visit. There was even firewood that was cut and ready to use! The property owner was really good at communicating, too. A great stay!

Motorcycle Getaway

Perfect stay for our group of 3 couples! The home is in a perfect location to start our motorcycle rides each day. It’s convenient, clean and has beautiful views! Karen is great to work with and responds quickly to questions. Would definitely recommend this home!

Wonderful vacation home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The view out over the mountains is spectacular, the location is quiet and the house has everything you need for a vacation. It was nice to be able to drive 15 minutes in any direction and have fun things to do: hiking, kayaking, scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, activities in Cherokee, etc. We also enjoyed stargazing from the back deck and making s'mores over the fire pit. A wonderful week in the Smoky Mountains!

Spectacular View

This lovely property was very private and really had a great view. The house had a lot of outdoor deck areas to sit and enjoy being outside. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit with the family. There are four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and another half bath that worked well for all of us. The covered parking was a plus for the four vehicles that were there. The property is only minutes from Bryson City which we always enjoy visiting. Cherokee and a couple golf courses were only 20 minutes from the house. We frequently visit this area during Easter break and this was another great family get-together.

Place is great; owner even better

First this is a wonderful place. Top of a mountain, clean, close to downtown. Great fire pit. Very nice. We were there during an ice storm (right before christmas 2022), pipe froze. It was difficult and all was handled well by the owners. And the neighbors are great too.

The Best Mountain Stay Yet

We have been coming to the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains each fall for several years. If at all possible, this will be the place to stay from now on. The view is outstanding. The owner could not have been any better to work with. Don’t hesitate to book this house for your next mountain retreat!!

I have been visiting Bryson City since I was a little kid we used to go to Deep Creek Campground and it was so much fun going down the Rapids on the inner tubes. Now I enjoy the town, the food the fresh trout, and by far the mountain views this home is spectacular
