Wonderful condo that felt spacious for three couples sharing the space for a week. It has everything you need to take advantage of all that the Mauna Lani area has to offer. We enjoyed the private beach and tennis club particularly but also used the bikes and grill.

Great house for a few families/couples staying together. Check in, Check out process was super easy, and communication with the rental staff was very responsive. One of the best stocked kitchens around for cooking. We have been visiting the area for over 40 yrs and stayed at too many VRBOs in the area to count - this one is most definitely in the top tier!

there were a few things wrong, the internet didn't work so they sent someone out to fix it right away. Also the fan light wasn't turning off in the primary bedroom and we had to wait and communicate a few times to get it fixed. There were ants in all 3 bathrooms but since we are leaving today they were going to take care of it later on. This is large unit very comfortable and excellent location. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain at home. There were 6 adults and worked out well.

These Village units are solidly built and very comfortable. Each bedroom is a master with their own bathroom, walk-in closet, and comfortable beds and linens. The unit perfectly outfitted with everything you will need from beach chairs, towels, bikes and boogie boards. This unit is very well located as it backs up to the golf course with mountain views on the upstairs rear lanai porch. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 1 week. It has everything we needed for our beach and hiking vacation. We did not need to pack any beach items or coolers. The place was well stocked with kitchen items I would use at home. It was also very clean and updated. I would definitely stay here again.

The home was clean and beautiful. Great neighborhood and close to everything. I would absolutely stay again. The only recommendation would be new towels for the bathrooms as they were thin (the beach towels are perfect) and to update the shower head in the master bath. It was very grimy with poor water pressure because of clogged holes. I recommend this home. It is fully stocked, especially the garage.

Wonderful vacation time with family!

It is an excellent property in a family-friendly location with the best amenities for a perfect vacation. Everything in the house is clean and useful, and the kitchen is just amazing with all the tools that we need. There are also snorkeling gear, pool noodles, and bikes in the garage for us to use, which is great. My teenage son even learned how to bike when we were there! I highly recommend the Sea to Sky property to anyone who is looking for a great vacation with their family.

great for a family

This is a great rental for a family. They had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, and in the house as a whole. Including everything you'll need for the beach. Only a few minor issues, including stained carpeting, and tired living room furniture. But other than that, it's a great property.

Our Happy Place

Love the house. The layout is great. Spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the recreational toys are awesome. I want to come back with my kids and grandkids. We made good use of the the tennis and fitness club membership, playing pickleball and using the fitness room and the owners beach. The management company was responsive and had the aloha spirit.

Nice Home

The location was great! It was walking distance to the Mauna Lani shopping center, which is so convenient when we needed to do a run to Fooddland. The neighborhood was great as well. The house was nice. And the beds were comfortable. The only thing was there wss a dead roach in one of the bathroom downstairs and the ants were all ovet the dead bug. We called the management and they sent someone right away to take care of the problem and resolve the issue. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Well Furnished.

Our family of six spent 10 nights here. Excellent property - tastefully furnished, a well-stocked kitchen, access to the fabulous Beach Club, and close to other great amenities such as Brown's Restaurant at the nearby Fairmont Orchid Hotel. It has everything you need for a great stay on the Big Island. Two tiny suggestions: 1. Some of the bikes in the garage need attention - even after you pump up the tires they go flat in about 30 minutes. 2. There were several light bulbs out in the ensuites (they are specialty bulbs; otherwise, I would have just bought them). The property manager promised to install new ones, but never did. We can highly recommend this place.

I have passed this data onto our onsite manager so they can check for these types of issues. I appreciate you bringing these items to my attention as we like our rentals to be in top shape. Enjoying Paradise

We have visited the Villages for many years over the past two decades and this has been one of our best stays. While many of the Mauna Lani Villages properties are similar, the amenities provided Mr. Scharer (bikes, helmets, snorkeling equipment, DVD and book library, etc) were wonderful! The local property manager Danielle Bates was very responsive and accommodating. Our only suggestions would be instructions on managing the thermostat on the lower level (it was locked to change the temp, which we would have made less cold). Also, we could not figure out how to use the sound system to link to our iPhone. The furnishings were beautiful and we would not hesitate to return in future years! Mr. Scharer was also quick to respond to questions before we booked, for which we are appreciative. Mahalo for a wonderful vacation experience!

It took me some time before I rated our stay. We stayed in early September and it is now fast approaching Thanksgiving and I could not let go of giving both the Host and property 5 Stars. Prior to booking I do read all the reviews to help facilitate our decisions. I would 100% return and recommend to others.We stayed for 11 nights and the property supplied all our needs in the Kitchen. Well equipped. We were at the beach every day and although we thought we would dine out nightly we actually ended up eating most our meals at the Condo enjoying dinner on the lanai utilizing the outdoor BBQ. The reason we chose the property was due to the Private Beach Club which was one of my favorites of all time. Lounge Chairs and a Bar and Grill on the club property all walking distance to the Mani Lani Resort. The property had everything you need for the beach to include coolers and a wagon to haul all the gear.We went with our 2 recently college graduated daughters and each had their own room and bathroom making getting ready simple and easy. We did have an issue with the Master Bed and the host immediately fix the next morning. Response time was immediate.

Absolutely Wonderful Rental!

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. It is beautiful, and new looking with high end finishes. Everything about this home says “you and your families are welcome here”. The beds were all very comfortable, and the sheets and towels felt high end. Additionally, the kitchen is extremely well stocked with cookware/bakeware, spices, glass food storage, and so on. They have thought of not just the big things, but the little things as well. The home was stocked with everything from a folding wagon for the beach/excursions, baby equipment, toiletries, etc. An additional bonus is that it has a semi-enclosed yard area, which the kids enjoyed playing in. The property manager is also impressive. They are easily reachable and extremely responsive. We found that two of the beach umbrellas were broken and they delivered two new ones within a half hour of contacting them. Just a few minor suggestions: • The three thermostats are set to not go below 72 degrees. This was more than sufficient for the most part, with a small exception. The main area gets a bit warm in the late afternoons so allowing just that thermostat to be set at 71 degrees would be helpful. However, that area is plenty cool outside of the late afternoons (when most aren’t there anyway), so it’s definitely not a deal breaker. • Having a coffee scoop and a 9 x 9 baking pan in the kitchen would be helpful. Wonderful stay overall, and we are excited to return!

Kohala Coast of Hawaii

The townhouse was beautifully furnished. The kitchen was a cook's dream with a Wolf Stove, Thermador Vent, Sub Zero refrigerator. The configuration of the kitchen made it the hub of everything. The master bedroom had a wonderful shower and convenient closet. The outdoors kitchen was a great place to barbecue. The local grocery store was a 10 minute walk or a five minute bike ride away. It is a popular store. We found out that people further north at the Mauna Kea resort shop at the Foodland at the Villages which is what the area is called. It is actually called the Mauna Lani Beach Club Villages. There is a private beach which is accessed via a key card. It is quite frankly one of the best beaches around. There was great snorkeling and swimming and plenty of cabanas and chairs for the guests. This area is about 40 miles north of Kona so if you want to go to Target or get other essentials you do have to travel or plan ahead. I would recommend this place for a family vacation. One of its other features, though not a great view, it does have some view versus other townhouses that only have another townhouse as view. It overlooks a small natural area and then part of the golf course. There are stairs and no elevator so if you have members that do not do stairs, this is not for them. There were plenty of beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, and also bikes. Our family enjoyed the week.

Great time

The home has all that you will need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Paper towels, toliet paper, laundry and dishwasher detergent etc. Such a nice touch! Beds are very comfy and the bathrooms are great (hair dryers!). Nice linens and towels (plenty of towels). TVs in every room. Great air conditioning with 3 thermostats. Wonderful lanai with a peek a boo view of the ocean. Plenty of bikes, beach chairs and toys for all in the garage. Location is wonderful. Close to the grocery store and the private beach club access is a definite plus!! To make it EVEN better it would be nice to have an extra set of sheets for each bed. The bbq grill needs some tender loving care as the burners need to be cleaned or replaced (tough to grill on) and the tiles behind cleaned. The carpet also needs some spot cleaning and the windows in the kitchen and all the bedrooms cleaned (the upstairs lanai sliders were spotless). All in all a great place to stay!!!!

Beautiful home!

Honestly Outstanding.

We travel extensively and have been to Hawaii many times. This is the best equipped condo we've ever stayed in. The kitchen.......appliances, counters, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, gadgets, all outstanding. Bicycles, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, kid's beach toys.....buckets, shovels and on and on. All of it high quality and abundant. Hard to top

We regularly vacation in Hawaii. We have stayed at high end resorts like Four Seasons and Mauna Lani. We stayed at condo's in the Wailea, makena or Poipu areas. When I say our accommodations at Sea Sky were the best, I am comparing to all our previous accommodations. The house had absolutely everything and more. Our kids had a access to all pool and beach accessories. The home had everything you might need which rivals our home in the SF Bay Area, The grounds provided us a kid friendly pool and an accessible gym. We recommend this rental for your stay, especially if you have young children. The accommodations made our vacation memorable..
