These houses were designed for style, comfort, convenience, natural environmental consideration and our privacy located just 300 meters from the black sand beach of Playa Negra. Enjoy the close convenience of being .7 kilometes from Puerto Viejo, but you feel you are in the jungle, as you are.
It's a jungle out here, as you mostlikely will enjoy Sloths in the trees most days along with all other wildlife here on our property.
The houses space-
Enjoy room temperature inside the house stays comfortable day and night, as it was specially designed to stay cool using earthen construction and an open-air design to catch the Caribbean breezes. All windows and doors are screened from outside elements. The roof constructed of natural thatch palm leaves, which reflect the sun rays also keeping the house cool. The Barro house was actually constructed from the earth. We used the earth dirt we excavated from our private swimming pool and conconstructed the walls of the home. This earthen building has been a great feature to keep a natural look and accomplimentary feel of nature.
