Very nice cabin inside and out, oversized garage, kitchen with everything a family needs, coffee/tea station, great decorations inside, someone really took the time to make this place feel like home for others. Huge Christmas tree and fireplace made it feel like holidays again during our stay in January. Seeing a small plane pulling up to neighbor's house and elk walking around was a nice surprise. Hope to visit again.

Peaceful Holiday Escape

The home was beautiful and well maintained with many thoughtful amenities. We were there to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday and the kids had a great time playing games, riding the bikes, and exploring the neighborhood. Will absolutely return thank you!

Great Family Get Away to the Mountains

This home was a great location to many lakes just 40 minutes away in both directions. In 3 days we enjoyed fishing at 4 different lakes. The splash pad in the neighborhood was an added bonus for the kids. The owners/hosts have thought of EVERY little detail!!! Beautiful and extremely clean home! Our Family enjoyed the games, cooking out on the grill, the telescope, the fire pit with smores and even movie night in the cozy living area. Hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!!!!

Amazing Location & Unbeatable Amenities

Rented this property for a local tournament our kid was participating in. We lucked out and found this GEM in the air park area of Overgaard, just minutes from Show Low which is where the tournament was. This cabin had it all for us! We simply grocery shopped & was able to find/use everything we needed to prep/cook our food within their kitchen. Was so awesome! They have a TON of games to keep everyone busy. We had 4 adults 5 kids. We played board games & ping pong all night when it was too cold to go out. The coffee/tea bar was used all day, they provide some; but bring your faves if you like something particular. We used their beautiful decks (3 of them) during the day to lounge & eat. The balcony deck was perfect for star gazing with their telescope they have as well, we can’t see stars like that in The Valley. Our kids (10-16) loved having the loft as a space for themselves to hang out together. The surround sound downstairs is amazing, dads loved it while watching fire in the sky. This cabin is incredibly thought out, ORGANIZED & CLEAN… even the dads staying mentioned it! We were grateful for the MANY add ins they provide to make to your stay comfortable & memorable. Difficult to fit everything they provide into this review. BTW Good luck trying to leave the fireplace in the living, it’s amazing… Definitely will be back, everyone was so bummed to leave on our last day. Thank You Great8 and for your amazing, friendly customer service and communication!

Exceptional cabin stay

This is our second time staying at the Great 8 lodge and for the second time, all was great! The cabin is plenty stocked for all your needs and you’ll feel right at home. We will definitely book again!

Love it!

Loved this cabin! Extremely clean. All the small details in the cabin just shows that they put a lot love & thought in making sure you feel like family when you stay there. The whole process of checking in & out was super easy, the host was always checking to make sure our stay was perfect. Very nice! It was a relaxing & great experience! We visit Heber/ overgaard a lot so we will definitely come back to the Geat 8 Lodge. Thank you Stephanie & Eli!

Perfect!

Our stay at the Great 8 Lodge was perfect! The property was extremely clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials and more, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the property was spacious. It’s easy to see that the owners put a lot of planning into the Great 8 Lodge to ensure guests feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Vacation Home!

This by far was the nicest, most well thought out vacation home that we have stayed at, Eli & Stephanie's home was the nicest by far. Easy check in, computerized info on the entry wall explaining everything about the home and how to work things. Lots of patio space, the bedrooms were big and roomy, every last detail was thought of thru out the home. One of our favorites was the coffee bar with so many choices! We typically cooked in, although there are a handful of restaurants nearby to choose from. The kitchen literally had EVERYTHING anyone would want, cooking, baking sheets, bowls, utensils. We had a our UTV's with us, the access to the trails isliterally right out the door and down the road. I can't say enough how pleased we were with everything!!!!

Quiet and Peaceful

Nice outdoor areas around the house. Kids had things to do like play on hammock, games to play, and video games. Adults had a chess table, TV and 2 outdoor spaces to hangout. Clean and comfortable. Family drove to willow springs lake (25 minutes) and had a blast. Didn't see any planes land at airstrip but maybe next time.

Amazing Property

What a great property in Northern AZ. Fully stocked, great surround sound for watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. The decks were amazing while watching AZ monsoons. Absolutely no complaints!!! Highly recommend this rental.

Heber Family reunion

We had a great 4th of a July long weekend. Our grandchildren and children had a blast being outside and enjoying the large porches in the beautiful weather. The hosts were awesome keeping us updated on fun things to do. We made wonderful memories and a beautiful, clean cabin was much appreciated.

A+ Cabin Retreat!

Our experience at "The Great 8" cabin began with the owners' communication with us before we even got there. Stephanie was super responsive and helpful all through the process and was very interested in making sure we had a great experience. Then we arrived at the cabin and we were blown away!! It was immaculately clean, smelled fresh, new and welcoming, and every room was beautifully decorated. We've stayed in dozens of VRBO properties and this might be the best first impression presentation I've seen. Our two days at the property were lovely and comfortable with the accommodations more than adequate. The surround sound to the entertainment center was awesome!! The front and back porch balconies were relaxing during the day and magical at night. We went for walks around the neighborhood and played basketball at the clubhouse. Just loved it. The only thing I can think of that would enhance the experience would be a hot tub, but still our top pick for the next time we're in the White Mountains!

We loved staying in this beautiful cabin! Everything was clean, comfy and so cozy!! We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace and sitting out on the beautiful patio. Great location! We enjoyed everything about this place and can't wait to go back!
