Loved it despite a few imperfections

Beautiful place, well kept, two blocks from the beach. After being there for couple of days I get used to split floor (and my husband's cursing when he missed the step) and felt at home. The hostess is very friendly. Nice backyard but we wish it wouldn't have spurs all over which we still have to put off our dog's paws, but it's probably seasonal. Well equipped kitchen with lot of skillets and pots ( no pan lids ). Linens better to bring with you if you don't like them being from polyester. We used linens provided and had to wash them before departure which is ok. What came as surprise is no laundry detergent in the house. You have to bring it with you or buy.

Cozy Easter Weekend Getaway

Well maintained and clean property. A great size for our family and love the fenced in private backyard. The walk to the beach is easily manageable, but further than we anticipated. Overall a good stay!

Stay in the Villas

We had a great stay at the Villas! Lovely home in a quiet area that was close to everything we wanted to see in Cape May! Our pup enjoyed the fenced-in yard and walking along the beach at the bay. Denise was a great host, house was very clean, bed was comfy, and we were surprised and happy to see that dog treats & bowls were provided! We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed and it was the perfect space for our family and our dog. We’ve been coming to Cape May for a few years now and it was our first time staying on the bayside, which was such a nice treat to be so close to it - Cape May sunsets are just amazing. Also, Denise was amazing to work with; she always responded quickly and was always amenable - truly the perfect host! Thank you for a lovely time.

Ideal dog-friendly beach location

This is our second stay at this property and we chose it primarily because it is very dog-friendly with a completely fenced in back yard and walking distance to the bay beaches, which allow dogs until 11:00 am and after 4:00pm. We also really enjoy the fire pit as well as the new outdoor shower, which quickly became our primary shower.

Awesome stay

This property was perfect for my family of three and our two chihuahuas. It’s located on a quiet street and a short walk to the bay. The beds are super comfy and the ceiling fans are quiet and clean. (The fans are a big pet peeve of mine) Being able to open the sliders and let our puppies run and play was so convenient. I definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a stay away from the busy towns

Great place in Cape May

Great place for our family of 4 and two 25lb dogs. It was just as described and was very clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Beds were comfortable and the outdoor shower was a plus! We liked that we could easily walk to the bay to see the sunset. It was such a short and easy drive to anything we wanted to see. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Great place for you and dogs--Cape May area

Could not be more convenient...near groceries and restaurants not in Cape May, but close. Fenced yard, high fence. I traveled with my two energetic (short-haired, 50 lbs) shepherd mixes...3 bedrooms, everything that you need. Clean! Bay at the end of the long and lovely residential block:) Thank you, Denise!

Long weekend

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. I've been coming to Cape May for my entire life and it is always nice to be there. The yard was safe and fenced for our dog, the house even had some dog toys and milk bone treats! Very nice house!

Terrific stay near the beach

We had a really terrific stay. The place is excellent and the location is terrific as well. It is also a perfect place if you have a dog. The only downside was we were not aware that linens and towels were not provided unless you washed and dried them yourselves. We would have brought our own if we had known. As long as you’re aware of that, you’ll have a terrific time.

Everything we needed

The home was clean and as advertised in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile to the bay. Linens and towels aren't included but are available if you don't mind laundering them before you depart. Denise was helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent experience

Over the years we have rented in the area on several occasions. This was by far the best experience. The house was exactly how it was shown/described in the listing and it was in a very quiet residential neighborhood. We walked one block to the bay and watched beautiful sunsets on the water. The house was very clean and it had a great fenced in yard for our dogs. The home was larger than we initially thought and easily accommodated us. We would 100%, rent with this home/family again.

Great one week stay

We enjoyed our one week vacation. Our family included 4 adults, a baby and two happy dogs. In fact we all were quite happy. Great Easter break getaway!

Our family had an excellent time at the Blissful Bayside Cottage. The house is stocked with everything and owner very responsive. The cottage is also a short walk to the bay beach, 5 minutes drive to great deli, restaurants and ice cream! And only 15 mins to Cape May. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again!!

Awesome... Quiet Street... Kids loved it!!

Great place.... Take your own pillows.... And ground coffee.... We brought the pigs, but luckily there was coffee in the cupboard to get us through the morning. Overall... Great time.
