Large traditional alpine Chalet close to slopes with fantastic views

Chalet Hibou is a south facing, modern alpine chalet based in the charming village of St Chaffrey in Serre Chevalier. It features a sauna, wifi, Bose surround sound home theatre with UK channels, large garden and grand verandas with spectacular views of the mountains.

The space

The chalet is made up of two separate accommodations, one sleeping 6 adults and 2 children and the other 4 people. They are join-able for possibilities of sleeping a maximum of 10 - 13 people. Separately each home has its own kitchen, lounge and dining area, so when combined two lounges become perfect for large groups.

It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, which takes you to the ski slopes, shops, bars and restaurants in Chantemerle. There is also a local village shop for essentials and local bar, a few minutes’ walk away.

Entrance, linen room with washer/dryer, boot warmer and sauna/shower area

First Floor
Kitchen and dining room, large balcony, two lounges one with an open fireplace with plush comfortable sofas, separate wc and shower room and study then entrance to annex

Second Floor
Double bedroom with balcony, wc, bathroom with spacious balneo bath and separate walk in shower, twin bedroom, double bedroom with twin mezzanine (suitable for children).

Bunk room, shower room, wc.

Annex First Floor
Open kitchen, dining room and lounge with double sofa bed

Annex Second Floor
Double bedroom with large balcony, wc, bathroom

The chalet is available on a self-catered basis but it can be arranged for a private chef or daily food deliveries on request for a fee.
