Disappointed

The listing pictures were much nicer than the actual property and the listing should be updated to reflect the current furnishings which are dated and mismatched but functional. The listing pictures reflected a properly staged home. IMHO, the property is in need of some basic repair work (specifically the window coverings)and painting plus a deep cleaning. Both the location and neighborhood were great. The property requires the renter to purchase damage insurance which is acceptable, but the 50 per incident fines mentioned in the checkout rules are a bit much and came across as threatening. Overall our short stay went fine but this property could be amazing with a little TLC. Thanks.

Peggy we are very sorry that the home did not meet expectations for you. We do feel the checkout instructions are reasonable, throw towels in wash and start in dryer to save the cleaning crew an extra hour, and take out the trash to the bin in the garage. Please make sure to check out other reviews here, as the home was not staged for photos, everything is still as presented in photos, with perhaps a decorative pillow missing here or there or a change in bed coverings.

Everything you need.

The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Kroger is less than a mile away. Places to eat nearby. Wonderful experience, the homeowner was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Great for large families!

This house was very clean & accommodating for my family of 6. The kids enjoyed having their own space. The owner was great to work with, especially when the weather caused delays in our plans. We are already renting from him again.

Clean and convenient

This property was clean and convenient to grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and ect. The owner was super nice and very accommodating. We needed a short stay while remodeling the house we were moving to and it was perfect.

Hi Carole, We are disappointed in your review and that our home did not meet your expectations. We do wish that you would have reached out to us as requested to let us know what needed improvement or anything that was lacking. We live close by and work hard to meet every guest expectation, as quickly as possible. But having not heard from you at all we had to assume that all was well. Also, since you had no reviews or previous VRBO stays, you may not be familiar with the ratings system, as 5 stars does equate to a 5 star resort! Again, without specific feedback or request, it is a challenge to know what we need to improve upon. Thank you again for staying with us, and we truly regret that we did not meet your expectation.
