Bolton Cove is a relaxing, family-owned and operated vacation home community located in beautiful Lake Martin's Parker Creek area. Lake Martin was created in 1926 by damming the Tallapoosa River was, with over 750 miles of shoreline, the largest man-made lake in the world. Bolton Cove itself is a gated community of only a few homes offering many amenities such as a community swimming pool, pool house, private beach, large community boat dock, and playground.

As with all homes in Bolton Cove, 11 Cricket Lane is located directly on the water. This 2-story home has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and offers wonderful views of the lake from the living room, master bedroom, and 2 lakeside porches. The upstairs porch also features a gas grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances such as a refrigerator, cooktop, stove, Keurig coffee maker, and a wine cooler. We also provide plates, glasses, utensils, bowls, pots, and pans for your next gathering.

The living room and master bedroom both have gas fireplaces if you need to warm up.

With the 4 bedrooms, the master has a king bed with a private bathroom, the guest bedrooms each have a queen bed with one sharing a bathroom with the kids’ bedroom having 2 sets of bunk beds. All beds have sheets and blankets, and we also provide soap, shampoo, and towels in all bathrooms.

There is private Wi-Fi throughout the home and the televisions in the living room and bedrooms are all SmartTVs with Spectrum cable so you can enjoy your favorite shows.

Bolton Cove is conveniently located only minutes by car or boat to popular places like Willow Point, Catherine’s Market, SpringHouse restaurant, Children’s Harbor, and the Landing restaurant.

OPTIONAL PONTOON BOAT: Enjoy the lake with our optional 22-foot pontoon boat. With a 115-horsepower engine, you can pull the kids on a tube or just cruise the lake with your friends and family. If you are interested in renting the pontoon boat for an additional $300 per day plus gas, which is available May 1 - October 1. Please ask in advance so we can confirm availability.

Wonderful house for golf trip

We rented #10 and #11 houses for an 8 person golf trip. Everything was great and met our needs so each person had their own bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked and grilled steaks one night.

Lakeside Comfort

This property is beautiful, clean, quiet, on the water and right by the pool. There's a nice little beach area. Gorgeous views. Tips: If you take small children pack a baby gate (tall stairs). If you're picky about pillows maybe take your own. This is a fantastic rental. So well-appointed and considered. Thanks for a great stay!!!!

Family reunion

Three sisters, their adult children with their grandchildren gathered at Bolton Cove for a reunion. We had 24 in total ranging in age from mid-70's to 8. We reserved units 9, 10 and 11. Having the 3 houses allowed for great visits while maintaining privacy. The lake, the kayaks, the boat, the beach and pool were terrific. We look forward to our next reunion at Bolton Cove!

Daughter's wedding family and friends

My daughter got married in Eclectic. I rented the VRBO for family and friends from Illinois and Georgia. Everything was perfect! Sleeping arrangements worked out perfect. Grilled sausage for the whole crew for lunch. The ladies enjoyed the beach. The children loved that and the playground. Best of all, the owner was very responsive. Every time I had a question, I had an answer within an hour!!! Definitely a wonderplace to stay!!

Good Stay

Numerous amenities for the entire family, however we were there for Lake Martin. Property was clean but not spotless. Furnishings were a bit tired but acceptable. Owner was easy to communicate with and the “Welcome Package” he sent was very helpful. The access road, entry gate, and driveway are car friendly but the tight turns, narrow gate, and narrow driveway are more challenging for boats and trailers. The nearest public boat ramp is difficult to access.

Bolton Cove

My family of 10 had a great time. We had an issue with the microwave and the owner Courtland addressed it immediately. Also, we rented the boat for 5 of our 6 days and it was great. We had an issue with the light on it and again, Courtland addressed it immediately. With the pool right beside our house and the lake right there we never left the place. We pulled a tube behind the boat every day and the kids had a blast. Fishing was great out in the lake and right off the dock. We will be returning!

Great outdoor area, responsive host, needs cleaning and review of house description

Overall, Courtland was a responsive host. We were a family reunion who rented all four houses. This house had a broken air conditioner and broken shower door handle that were fixed within two days. The refrigerator/freezer in the pool house was broken and replaced within a day. Courtland went out of his way to reimburse us for any of our more significant maintenance issues that could be addressed within the week. This house was, I think, the best of all four. It does need a thorough deep cleaning and a walk-through at the start of each season. It could use pots that are adequate enough and big enough to serve the number of people the house sleeps, but overall this home was good. Be aware that if you have mobility issues of any kind, coming down the stairs out the side door to the boardwalk will be difficult. The door does not open all the way, so you have to open the door and then close it before you pass around it to head down the stairs and the stairs at the bottom is a trip/fall hazard because it’s not a platform so you have to step sideways in order to take a right turn toward the pool. Be aware that there was mold and bat issues in 2 of the other 4 houses. This house did not have those issues. There was a discrepancy in the description of this house-it indicated online that there were 3.5 bathrooms. It only has 3 bathrooms. Hopefully that’ll be corrected. I hope that other issues can be resolved so that all 4 houses can be recommended as a group. Its an amazing concept!

Wonderful retreat!

The property owner was very easy to contact and work with. The home was spacious and beautifully furnished. We rented two of the side-by-side properties, making it easy for our group to remain close. Master bed was so comfortable, I considered looking for the brand! The kitchen was fun to cook in. We enjoyed the griddle on the stove and the convenience of all of the other appliances. Floors needed a good sweeping but everything was perfect!

Great Little Vacation

We have been coming to Bolten Cove for 5 + years. We love it! Great location, on the water with dock, gorgeous town house with plenty or room and a pool which is super hard to find on Lake Martin. You will not be disappointed! Mr. Davis is awesome to work with and he always gets back to you in a timely manner. Enjoy!! Maria Hicks

Family get together

Perfect setup for family. Plenty of room and kids had a blast fishing kayaking and swimming . Kitchen was well stocked with dishes cookware and the like. Definitely will book again!

Family vacation

This place was perfect location for our family. We had age ranges from little babies to 6-8 year olds. The beach area was great as well as the pool. It felt very private. The marina across the lake was perfect for boat rental since the boat on property was rented already. We had a great time and really liked Lake Martin!
