Clean and very well-appointed. This condo was super-well kept and organized and the kitchen had everything I could want to cook a decent meal. I have rented many homes in my day and this kitchen has the best gear!

Great Mountain Townhouse

The house was perfect for our family vacation. The house was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fact that there was plenty of seating on the deck. Only one small complaint and it seems to be the case on other houses we have rented in the same development , that is there is no pantry, so no real space to store dry food items.

Clean and Cozy

Weekend Getaway with Friends

We were SO impressed with this property. The location was centrally located between the town of Davis and tube/ski slopes. The property was immaculate. We were especially impressed with how well appointed everything was. The owners thought of everything. All the small conveniences were provided. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back.

Great spacious townhouse close to Canaan valley downhill and cross country skiing

Thank you for letting our family stay at your condo! It was in a great location near the ski slopes, restaurants, and market. The condo was so inviting, clean, and well thought out! I love how there was hot chocolate along with goodies waiting for us, especially for my kids! A huge hit!

Perfect location and perfectly stocked

The location was perfect for me and two friends from work to take a weekend snowshoeing at WhiteGrass. Central to everything. Hands down the most well-stocked rental property I have stayed at. The hot cocoa station was great but also fully stocked kitchen for mulling wine, making pizza, etc.

Amazing, as Always!

We love staying here every winter during ski season. The house is perfect, with everything you need and more.The location is perfect. And the hosts are incredibly responsive and helpful.

Great stay getting back to nature

Family and I took this trip as a little family getaway before going back to school. Enjoyed the hikes and waterfalls nearby to this location as well as the ski lift up the mountain. The rental house was incredibly clean and offered all the amenities as promised and more

Best visit yet

We have been traveling to Canaan Valley for 30 years and have stayed at Deerfield approximately 8 times. This is the best unit we have stayed in. There were no issues upon arrival. The accommodations were above average. The back porch opened onto a large yard lined with white pine. It felt very private and peaceful. The kitchen was relatively well equipped for six people. Basics such as salt, sugar, coffee filters, and other kitchen basics were available. Our grandchildren had a great time in the well-maintained swimming pool each evening and had a safe area around the circle to ride their bikes. The community and fireman has always been very friendly. Deerfield provides great support staff for the guest. We had a great week in West Virginia and will certainly return to this condominium.

NICE, restful break and getaway!

The home is very well kept and clean, All the supplies we needed were provided. The kids loved the pool, tennis courts and other amenities at the complex. Location was not far from Blackwater Falls and several small towns with restaraunts and stores. Nice relaxing getaway. Would definitely want to stay here again if in the area.

Perfect Weekend Winter Vacation

We had scheduled this trip just to get to see snow since we rarely see snow in the DC area. We got one of the best vacations we have ever had. While the snow storm made our skiing/tubing weekend amazing, the home and location made the weekend perfect. We had separate rooms for our 2 daughters with independent heat controls and ceiling fans so they could sleep comfortably. We had 2 1/2 bathrooms which meant noone had to wait. And a wood burning fireplace that allowed us to come home and roast s'mores while watching the snow fall. The family room was comfortable with multiple ways to watch whatever you wanted. They thought of the little things too. We were welcomed with supplies for hot chocolate (complete with marshmallows) as well as a wonderful welcome gift. The owner supplied a lighter and ash bucket for the fireplace, batteries and scissors so we had it when we needed to replace the fire alarm batteries, cotton balls and swabs, make up wipes, lotion and tissues. And the kitchen was perfect for us to cook meals rather than be forced to drive in the snow to find food. The home is in a lovely community with dedicated parking. We didn't get to enjoy the deck but we did take some great family photos in the backyard that backed up to evergreen trees. We have already talked about making this an annual trip! Thanks so much for having us!

Phenomenal Ski Trip

Communication with owner was flawless. Quickly answered any questions we had. Even took our phone call when we couldn't find the unit because of snow storm. Great place with great owners. Will definitely use again.
