Amazing stay

We loved everything about this property. It was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Having access to the pool, “club house” and beaches were great. We can’t wait to come back.

Although the room was not the same as the one I reserved, we still had a blast. Could have let us know it had been refurnished.

Room is dated and falling apart. Wasn’t cleaned and photos are misleading.

As this was our first time to Portifino, we had high expectations given the positive reviews of the property and the high price tag. Check-in went smooth and they had plenty carts available for transporting our stuff. First impression of the room wasn’t bad but once you started walking around you could tell it had a rough life. Furniture falling apart, the floor was disgusting and obviously hadn’t been mopped in ages. There were crumbs covering the dining table and the sofas. The shower door in the Master Bathroon was falling off the hinges, toilet paper holders falling off the wall and damage to the paint and walls everywhere. The photos show nice chairs and a rug in the living room which don’t exist. There were a dozen remotes scattered about which none worked the TV’s. After sharing my concerns with the property owner, maintenance brought some remotes but the cleaning people never came. After that, the property owner went silent and I never heard back about anything. Although not the resort’s fault, it’s obvious there are no standards set for property owners. We will not be staying at Portifino again in the future and I would advise anyone staying there to do research before committing.
