Smelled very clean upon walking in, nice extras such as coffee , water and beach towels. Nice porch view and Albert the host on site was beyond amazing ! Can’t recommend enough ! Thank you Albert !

The property was very clean and had many amenities like free water, keurig, cooking equipment, and beach towels. The property was not exactly where the Vrbo map shows it, but was still near the beach (Limetree Beach Resort) and had a nice view as pictured. Albert was very welcoming and responsive during our trip. The AC was great.

Albert and his wife were the most pleasant and kindest host we have dealt with. Both went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and care. Albert and his taxi service took us around for the day we were here and could not ask for better. Never complained and got us were we needed to be with a smile. I highly recommend you staying with them if needing a spot.

The property was lovely, with a nice balcony to enjoy morning coffee. The a/c and fans were sufficient to keep the property comfortableOur only issue was finding the property, and that was not because of bad directions, but because a neighboring property owner had no trespassing signs by the road where we turned.

My wife and I stayed for one week. We found the condo very, very nice. It has a great kitchen, a nice back balcony off the bedroom, and it's centralized on the southern coast of St. Thomas. The air conditioning worked well. We had good weather in general, but we could keep the windows open on some nights. It was nice to find coffee for the next morning after our arrival. The Keuric coffee maker made mornings very easy. Parking was great right next to the condo. Plenty of room in the refrigerator, lots of glasses and plates. Great pots and pans along with all the utensils for making some great meals. The living room and bedroom were well appointed and very comfortable. The wifi was more than adequate for streaming TV and the Internet.

Very nice property.Uncle Albert was very responsive and ensured our stay went good. We drove to the property on the night and initially had difficulty locating first time but other than that everything was good. The house was neat and well maintained and ensured we had a good time

Anniversary trip

Our stay at Eagles Nest was nice. It was clean and close to Limetree Beach. The only problem was using the address on my Google maps gps. The address provided, even though correct took me a mile or so from Eagles Nest. I would recommend using the Waze app. It wasn't the owners fault. I would recommend Eagles Nest to anyone for a nice reasonably priced stay

This is simply an OK property. The bed was comfortable enough. It was nice to have a kitchen. The balcony is pretty, but very close to the highway with all the traffic noise. Like many places in St. Thomas, there are very steep hills to get to the property so a car with a big engine is a must. We never received check-in instructions, the link to the location didn't work, and we never received detailed instructions for how to check in or even which apartment was the right one. When we called the number provided, no one answered. The communication was lacking overall. The AC in the living never worked, and the temperature got up to 83 degrees. We tried to keep the fan going, but the light switch would turn off on its own resulting in no air flow and a warm room. Additionally, there was no water on the final day. While not necessarily the fault of the host, there was no sense of urgency or even communication about it. We weren't able to take showers on our last day, which made the trip home more uncomfortable. We do not plan on returning to this apartment.

Above and Beyond

Uncle Albert and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts. We stayed with them over the winter holidays. He picked us up from the airport on Christmas Day and shuttled us to the property (he does charge extra for this) We found the property very clean, and it was very well stocked with anything we needed for cooking or just relaxing. While we were staying with them, they made sure we felt at home, directed us to local stores, eateries and points of interest. We overpacked for our trip, so he let us leave a box of extra clothes while we toured the other islands for a few days. When we came back from the other islands, he picked us up again and got us settled in our property. Anytime we had questions or needed directions, he was available and happy to help. We would highly recommend staying with these hosts. They understand the hospitality industry and are a credit to VRBO. We would love to stay here again! Thank you-Joe and Trudy

Advertised incorrectly and broken items

Advertised as sleeps 6 but only sleeps 4 max. Hide away couch/bed slips on floor causing it to collapse. Had to sleep on floor. JCoffee maker was broken. No hot water. Communication from property was limited. They did not respond to VRBO messaging but the Property Manager was pretty good texting replies. Google Maps did not a accurately find the address so we spent about 45 minutes trying to find the place. Emailed directions ahead of time would be helpful. On the positive: deck was cute and peaceful; owner provided bottled water in the fridge; air conditioning worked well.

Hi Cindy, I'm sorry you had a bad experience while staying with us, we typically do not get any bad feedback from our guests but i do understand your concern. In the listing, it says mattress-style airbeds can be requested and made available upon request. I wish you had said something about the coffee maker and hot water as those issues would have been addressed on the spot. I don't recall not getting any messages from you on vrbo but we did communicate via phone when you had problems finding the location, and i placed you in direct contact with the host, so that was means for you to ensure communication moving forward. Navigating in st Thomas can be tricky sometimes as Google Maps does not work the way it should down there. So that i apologize.

The property was beautiful. The host amazing great couple. Very attentive to us. We got married in St. Thomas and everything was just so beautiful. They made sure we had any and everything that we might have even thought we needed. The host son guided us step by step from the airport on how to get to the property. GPS makes it a little difficult to find the property but these people were so nice and paid attention to every detail. Made sure we made it there safely after getting our rental car and even asked if we needed help getting around the island. Beautiful people! Love the stay. When we return for our anniversary I would be honored to be able to purchase this property again

Well appointed and spotless

This rental was a comfortable fit in a good location. Basically everything you could want is in the apartment and the owners have generously provided lots of little extras not normally found in a rental. I can’t overstate how clean everything was, and that’s a big factor for me when renting. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I will definitely be back.
