Business Trip at Convention Center

Everything about the stay was great! It was exactly what we needed and allowed us to stay close enough to the convention center (only an 8 minute drive) as a fraction of the cost of a hotel that was only a few minutes closer!

Hi Lateshia, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, we strongly disagree with the one-star rating and feel it is important to clarify the facts. You booked our home, which accommodates a maximum of 8 guests, yet an unauthorized party of over 30-40 people was held on Christmas Eve. There was loud music, yelling, people dancing in the street, and excessive vehicles disrupting the neighborhood until 3:00 AM. Due to the disturbance, neighbors were forced to contact local police. This behavior was a clear and serious violation of our house rules, which strictly prohibit parties and large gatherings. As a result, the reservation was terminated in accordance with our booking policy to protect the safety and peace of the neighborhood. Guests are always welcome when house rules are respected. If you plan to host a party, please be upfront and book a property that allows that’s many people.

Everything was nice, the picture's made the place look larger. But my family and I enjoyed our stay. I don’t think I would rent this place again, because I need more space. But if you are not needing a lot of space, then this would be a nice place.

Beautiful home!

This house is a hidden gem! Extremely clean and spacious. My friends and I stayed here for a get together I hosted and absolutely loved it. It is in a bit of an older, worn down neighborhood but the house itself it taken very well care of or completely remodeled! Everything that we needed was provided by the owners. They were also so quick to respond to any questions or comments I had as well which was nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Dallas - July 21-23

Overall it was a good experience. The house was very nice and clean. We had a hiccup with the air conditioner, but the owners replied to our message immediately and walked us through how to remedy the situation. We were unable to park in front of the vacation home because the neighbors quickly informed us "That's where his brotha parks". We didn't want to start a gang war, so we carefully parked our Honda Pilot in the garage even though we were told it was slated for a "compact car". No harm, no foul. There were plenty of towels and extra linens. They had some board games and my family stayed up until 2am playing "Logos". We laughed til we cried! It was a GREAT TIME!. The home was located very close to the Dos Equis Pavillion and this was the main factor in staying here. While there were no "incidents", we probably won't stay here again due to the location. It was a little scary for people who are coming from a very small town of 2000 people and who reside in the country with no neighbors. Thank you for opening your home to us. Jana

House was wonderful. Well stocked with everything we needed. Close to activities and all sorts of entertainment. Area looks sketchy but had zero issues. Would stay here again.

Very nice house in a challenging location

The owners have done a really good job of making a cozy, welcoming, attractive house for visitors. We all especially appreciated the super soft linens, comfortable beds, and large smart TVs! Also, the house was an easy Uber ride to Deep Ellum, so that was a very big positive. Unfortunately, there are location challenges beyond the owners' control. Outside the main bedroom, there was a lot of street noise from cars vrooming at night. It looks like a quiet street on street view sites, so that was a bit of a surprise. The neighborhood was okay, but coming from the suburbs it was a bit too gritty city for us.

Nice house, close to all the hang out spots.....Cheap Uber/ Lyft prices. All in all a nice place. Some question the neighborhood, but the neighbors were nice and provided a few laughs as well.

1 mile outside Deep Ellum

Close to all the great food! Cute, clean and spacious. A little outside noise in the evening but not terrible. Parking for a large vehicle is a little difficult but we were warned. Hosts were quick to respond to messages. Would certainly stay again but will bring a coffee pot.
