We spent Thanksgiving with our family. This home exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and welcoming with everything we needed to get started. The view was gorgeous. We will certainly come back here again!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Baby James! The house has everything you need, and the amenities are top-notch! The location is convenient, and we were able to take advantage of the free tickets as well. Overall, a great stay!

Indoor Pool heat did not work during my stay but they did try fixing it once notified. Was not a fast fix so we didn't get to use the pool. Everything else was good.

Where do i start?? When we arrived Tv's wouldnt turn on.The toaster oven cord was cut and placed on top of the toaster, and the pool was ice cold. I called the property and they said maintenance would be out first thing the next morning. Maintenance did not make it out until after 12:30pm. Before he came i ended up going to the breaker and fixing the tv issue so we wouldn'tbe an entire day with tv ( I shouldnt have to go mess with breakers on vacations). Maintenance came out with a toaster oven and gave it to me then went to go check the pool. He said it was the breaker, turned it on and left. Well the pool never heated and the breaker kept tripping. I called back they said there was a bigger problem with the pool and they would escalate the issue and someone would be calling Monday morning. No call back Monday. I called back Tuesday and they said again that someone would call me back Wednesday with a resolution. Well here we are are Thursday September 18, 2025 and still no call back. The ONLY reason I rented the Sweet Baby James cabin was for the HEATED indoor pool that we could not use. I had family travel from Chicago and Georgia for this cabin experience and well it was not a good experience especially for the amount of money I paid. Oh let me not forget the dust. Lots of dust on pictures, curtains, fireplace, etc. I was hoping to leave a better review, but they failed to do their job as property management to reach back out to resolve the obvious issues.

Wonderful Rental With Only One Problem

My family loved this neighborhood. The community pool was nice. We were able to meet some of the other people staying around us and our kids played together at the pool.There were a few issues that need to be addressed. The biggest problem was that the AC units were not working properly and the bedrooms upstairs were very hot. Property management was notified and they promptly sent someone out. However, the issue was the compressor in the unit needed replaced. We were told that someone would be coming to bring portable air units for the upstairs, but nobody ever showed up. The only other small issue was the TV in the downstairs bedroom kept powering off and on all by itself or if you turned it on to watch it, it would turn off. The power went off 2 of the nights we were there, but I'm not sure if that is a normal occurrence or not. Aside from those things, it was great! If the air conditioning units get repaired or replaced, we would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed

The cabins are beautiful and somewhat clean. when we arrived we couldn't get the door to opened to save our life. We was pushing the code in they gave gave us and the door just wouldn't open. We had to call maintenance and wait even longer after our 6 hour drive with 8 kids who we're all ready to just get in and swim. When we got in we went thru the cabin of course and seen where everything was when we get to the pool area we followed the directions to get into pool area when we followed the directions for the pool alarm that's was in the pool and couldn't get the pool alarm to turn off,it's a loud alarm that we had to call maintenance again and wait for him to come back out and help us turn off pool alarm. So now that's twice we had maintenance come out..Im short and couldn't get in hot tub and enjoy it because I couldn't get my short self in it.very disappointed. Then the room I took had the hot tub in it and it was so deep and no handrails for me to get in it either. The steps and rocks out front are very dangerous and the step up is so high I barely could make it up on the porch. This was something I really wanted to enjoy and it was very disappointing.Thank you Leah Fields

We had a great time for my daughters 7th birthday!!

It was a great location! Close o Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Very spacious yet cozy. The pool, sauna, hot tub, game room, and theater room were so needed. It was a plus that each room had its own bathroom so no one had to wait. I loved it there and would absolutely book with them again.

Beautiful House with fun amenities

Two families stayed and we had a blast . Kids had a great time and loved everything in it.Was surpised the 4th bedroom was behind a locked door by the pool..i didnt realize that based on the description of it being on the lower floor so not ideal for younger kids and lmultioke family set up but fortunately we had some air mattresses and leveraged the sofa bed so it worked fine.

The Frozen Getaway

Very clean and well laid out. Something for everyone. The only issues were the pool alarm beeped continuously. A man showed up on the 2nd night to get the agreement signed that I had already signed the day before online. No one was aware he was coming and had no ID visible and a gun on his hip no doubt. Could have taken that as threatening. Thank God my husband was there and the kids were not alone when he arrived. It would be nice to know someone was coming so to be aware. Also looked like true Mountain Man. This should never have happened. I spoke with several employees from customer service and was never ask to come by office and poor on my part fro not reading the agreement to it’s entirety.

Christmas vac

We really enjoyed our stay at Sweet Baby James, there was plenty of room and activites for everyone. Only downfall was working out the parking with 2 large cars and 2 small but it all worked out.

Sweet Baby James

Cabin was beautiful. Area was beautiful. Propane ran out on first night and couldn’t be refilled until we after we were checking out so could not use fireplaces or pool. Rat dropping all in bottom floor bedroom and in the BED. When we told management all they did was have housekeeping drop fresh sheets. Main bedroom also had rat dropping in it. Won’t be staying here again.

The door is very hard to open once the code is put in. It just does not unlock easily. Every time we came to the property we had to struggle to get in the house. The internet connection was horrible. There is a safety feature on the pool which is great for children but it went off for no reason at night and scared the heck out of us.

Was a really nice place lots to do in the cabin! Could spend the whole trip having fun here!

Everything was nicely set up and easy to access the pool was not as warm as described and most remotes for tvs had glitches but other then that the cabin is grate and so much room all bedrooms are very large with nice big bathrooms! FYI coming in at night watch your step the walkway is like rock climbing

Gatlinburg Weekend

The property is very nice, comfortable and clean. While it is a little off the beaten path, the property itself is very nice. The listing says parking for up to 4 vehicles, we only had 3 and it was very tight. We even got a very dirty note from a neighbor complaining about our parking, when we if fact should have had an extra spot.
