This rustic River Front home is only steps from the water. The sound of the rushing
River takes away the outside world, you will honestly be amazed a the beauty! There is actually 2 homes on this 1.5 acre site and both are part of this rental.

This house offers 4 bedrooms and a loft with 3 full baths and one half bath. Large family room with corner stone fireplace and a large sunroom sitting right on the water! The master bedroom offers access through the french doors to the upper deck to enjoy the beautiful outdoors overlooking the river and the master bath offers a claw foot tub with separate shower. This home is serviced by central HVAC.
The upper floor offers a combo living room area and bedroom. Very level yards to enjoy lots of outdoor activities, end of road privacy!

Loved the house and river! Very clean and tidy! Bees wasps spiders out the back, might need to spray! Def needs some work done on inside and outside! Still it was ok!

Quirky property but functional and relaxing

Kind of a funky setup but functional and a lot of space. Love the porches on the back of the house right on the river.

Great place

We had a wonderful time at this great home right on the river. The kids literally played from sunrise to sunset right out the back door and had a fantastic time!!! The home had plenty of space was pet friendly and very private!!! The owners were very readily available with open communication and helped with any problems immediately!!! The home was very rustic and needs some TLC but was good for our needs, would definitely stay again for location and space alone!!!

Great House and Location but was not fully clean on arrival.

Great house and location but found trash and food waste from previous guests around the property. Charcoal grill was rusted out so we had to get another grill from Walmart in order to grill the food we purchased for the trip. Owner was responsive and so pleasant to speak to so hopefully this was a one-off issue.

The host responds quickly and provides the information you need. We were pleased with the property and felt that the pictures and information were accurate. So when we arrived we were familiar with the house. The river was absolutely amazing, and the trip was awesome

Great Getaway

This is a great getaway. The only problem we had was the cleaning part. It was dog hair in the master bed when we got there. Things in the cabinet was open and some of the dishes was nasty.

Great riverside retreat

The layout of this place is fantastic for a group. We had a group of friends and everyone had their own private space, plus the wonderful communal spaces of the living room and sunroom in the main unit. The river was gorgeous. We saw deer during our stay, and spent mornings and evenings hanging out on the deck by the river. The kitchen is simple but well appointed. You're less than 15 minutes away from grocery stores. You're at the end of the road, so it's nice and quiet. Would stay there again.

Location is what made this place. Smells was the bummer. Major mildew smell throughout! The middle unit was the worst. Love the concept of the 3 units. If the smells were gone and they would power wash the outside it would be great! The 5 kids had a blast.

Wonderful Riverside!!

We had an amazing stay. Just what we needed!! The property was beautiful, right on the river with space for us to spread out....and lots of places for us to come together. The kitchen was really well equipped. Had everything we needed for family breakfast and dinner at the table overlooking the river. House was clean, beautiful and better than advertized. It was beautiful! My son loved fishing off the back and we loved listening to the river run. We saw deer in the front yard. Super easy trip into Ellijay. Perfect retreat for two families to come together. Thank you!!!

Another Successful Retreat Weekend

I have taking a group of college students in an organization at Georgia Tech on the semi-annual retreat for over 15 years. The size of the group is generally between 10 and 15 young men. I seek a place that is accommodating, has room for us to spread and conduct semester planning, is comfortable enough for winding down at the end of each day, is clean, and allows us to cook and enjoy meals as a group. This location in Ellijay hit on all areas! And it literally sits on a roaring river that crests the coolest ambience and nicest white noise at night sleeping. We had a great visit and the host was very attentive. Thanks.

Wait until they fix it up

The wedding was still wonderful, but the house was too warm, 83F, and there were sugar ants all over everything: the counters, sofas, and beds. The communication was excellent. They sent an AC repair guy, but he didn't have the right filters. The unit is clogged up and blows warm air in the main part of the home.Do not rent this if you have anyone with disabilities; the stairs are steep to the rooms. The area was pretty at the end of the road, so not having traffic was great.With a little TLC, cleaning, AC maintenance, and pest control, this would be a great rental.We were also given the wrong entry code, and so we were not able to get in for an hour until we could get service to request the correct code.

The home was exactly as advertised! I had no need to communicate with the property manager/owner because everything worked and there were literally no surprises! This location is really excellent and I hope this home is still available to rent again in the future - we'd love to come back!!!

Family Vacation

This funky house is surrounded by woods and water. The sound of the stream made for a soothing background noise, lots to do for those that like the outdoors. We found plenty of salamanders, caught some crawfish, plenty of deer to see and an overall relaxing trip. Would definitely stay at this location again. The linens and towels were clean and the kitchen was nicely stocked with pots and pans, cups and so forth. Surrounded by woods so bugs are to be expected. The house could use a little pressure washing just to remove some of the bugs and webs but other than that for anyone that enjoys the great outdoors this is a great house.

Awesome riverside property—perfect for big groups

I stayed here with six other friends, and we all had a great time. It’s a gorgeous piece of property, with the river providing a lovely backdrop and soundscape all weekend. The inside of the house is also very nice and clean. And the host was super responsive to any questions that arose during our stay. We would definitely re-book.

Great river getaway!

Excellent property for a fun family getaway. With two 9 year olds and two 6 year olds there was no shortage of fun to be had! The property is perfectly spread out for kids to run around play and skip rocks in the river. The house was very clean and incredibly comfortable. Already planning to return in the warm summer months so we can enjoy the river more!

Cute and Comfortable

We loved our stay here, however it is not ideal for groups with elderly people. The stairs are steep and I would not recommend older people stay here. For my group it was amazing. Incredibly spacious, warm, and came with everything you could ever need to enjoy yourself. There were plenty of activities to do nearby and everyone had fun. I'm looking forward to booking again in the future.
