My family of 6 loved River Rest!! We had two adults and 4 boys (ages 14, 11, 9, and 7). Access to the water was very easy. We loved getting to see the deer all over the property. There was plenty to do at the cabin, and it was close enough to town! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

River Rest

Beautiful house and property right on the river. The back deck has a beautiful view of the river. House has plenty of space and was easy to get to. Very enjoyable stay!

Perfect getaway

Perfect cabin in the mountains with stunning river views. The place was spotless when we arrived. Coffee bar in the morning was a plus. Highly recommend this property to anyone wanting some rest and relaxation!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the River Rest Cabin for so many reasons. The cabin is clean, has everything you need and the location is perfect. We already miss the comfy beds, the view and sounds of the river, the geese and the numerous deer on the property and throughout the resort. Our host was very responsive and went above and beyond. We would definitely return and we miss it already.

Views are better than pictures. Lots is space to spread out and kids loved exploring the river. Very winding roads filled with deer. Very well decorated and cozy

Cabin was exactly as we expected. The views of the river were fantastic. Like that it’s sort of a gated community, no traffic. Lots of deer and wildlife to see driving through. Overall, we were extremely pleased. Thank you

Rest and relaxation

"River Rest", the name says it all. We came from south Florida to escape the excessive heat and the every day hustle and bustle and this place did not disappoint!! We truly enjoyed our week long stay and would definitely return. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need including comfy beds. Some of our favorite things include the views, the sound of the river and the geese, the numerous deer on the property and throughout the resort , the peace and quiet, the winding roads, and the multiple activities available at the resort and nearby. Our host was a delight, quick to respond and went above and beyond!! Thank you so much!

Priceless

We had an amazing stay and the location was perfect. Awesome view and a cozy welcoming feel. We hope to return. The hot tub was a hit for the kids, as well as the play house, hammocks, Guess Who and ping pong table. The cabin was spotless and the perfect size for our family to have a Thanksgiving getaway! The trees with the changing leaves were beautiful around the house. The owners did a wonderful job creating an experience to remember. Kudos! Communication was quick and easy with owners, if needed. The property was well equipped with everything we needed!

River Rest

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The only complaints I have is about the "resort". It is very remote. It took us 30 min to get from downtown to the cabin. The resort is massive and nothing is close in proximity. It was a 20 min drive to the rec center and longer for the outdoor pools. This was not clearly described in the booking details. BUG SPRAY IS A MUST!

Gorgeous Cabin!

We stay in CRR quite a bit but this was the first time we selected a riverfront cabin. It was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and hearing the river. We also enjoyed watching the geese and even saw an otter or a beaver swimming around and playing. It was hard to tell because it was dusk outside. Of course, the deer are abundant and awesome to see walking around everywhere. This cabin was very clean and well appointed. It had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The bed was comfortable as well which is a big deal for us. Thank you!

Amazing

Perfect location and everything you could want is here. From the decor to the amazing views this place is perfect for a quiet getaway or a family get together. I would highly recommend and did I mention the place was spotless.
