Hello, and welcome to "The Birches"! This is a semi-secluded lake house located in the small, family-friendly hamlet of Huletts Landing on Northern Lake George NY. The house sits in a woodsy escape on the outskirts of the main square of this small village. Take in the exquisite scenery featured on the front and back porches. Sleep and relax to the babble of the brook the house lays right next to. Only a short walk to all the landings amazing amenities such as

Basketball courts
Tennis courts
The Soda Fountain Ice Cream Shop
Small dive bar called The Huletts Landing Casino
The Huletts Landing Marina
The hidden beauty of the Cascade waterfalls
And a very short drive to one of Lake George’s best hiking spots Black Mountain!

The house includes 4 bedrooms, two on the ground floor, and two on the second floor. Fits a maximum of 10 people in total. Two bedrooms include queen beds, one bedroom includes two bunk beds (perfect as a kids room) and another bedroom that includes two XL Twin beds. Two full bathrooms, one on the ground floor, and the other on the second floor. Front and back porches include a dinner table, couches, Adirondack chairs, and grille. House also includes a living room, full kitchen, dining room, and basement family room. The backyard also has a horseshoe pit!

Historic Huletts Landing is a hidden gem on the northeast coast of Lake George. Look at the website https://www.hulettsonlakegeorge.com/ to see everything our loving, private community has to offer!

Enjoy our home away from home in the Summer for a week of fun in the sun, and the Fall and Spring for quiet, romantic, and relaxing weekend getaways! Columbus/ Indigenous Peoples Day, and Memorial Day Weekends are available for an amazing holiday retreat! We ask for weeks to be Saturday-Saturday

The house was perfect for our family. We loved the 2 screened in porches! Perfect for both hot sunny days and cooler rainy days. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of linens and towels. A great house and perfect location.

Roomy and well-equipped

We needed a house with multiple bedrooms and enough hang space for 8 adults and one toddler, and within easy walking of family home in Huletts Landing. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved the enormous back porch. Quiet at night.

Beautiful property

Thank you so much to the Miller family for allowing us to rent your beautiful home. The home is spacious and very clean. We could not have asked for a nicer place to spend the long weekend with our extended family. I rely on reviews and I can promise you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Annual summer stay

House was great as always! A new set of kitchen pans/knives even inexpensive ones would go a long way but the house is awesome my family loved the bean bag and the bunk room definitely an upgrade kids were very excited! Looking forward to booking next year

Great Lake retreat

Host was very responsive and the property was just as described. Enclosed porches were great for hot days and offered lots of space to eat and hang out. It was high 80s for most of our stay so the upstairs is a little hot even with fans. We would bring additional fans or a portable ac unit that does not require a window vent next time. Kitchen offered more utensils and equipment that anticipated. Hand Soap and other staples provided made the stay easier as the closest Walmart is about 30 min away. Location was excellent and the landing was quiet. Lots to do on the landing and so many friendly families.

Our parents built this house in 1999, loving the property for its privacy and relaxation. The small village of Huletts Landing is a hidden gem in Lake George. We are a small, friendly, family community. You walk down the street and get greeted by people passing by. Our community is lively and great for families with all the amenities it offers.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We have a front and back porch showing the beautiful nature of the woods of the Adirondacks. We own part of a brook on the property along with a small bridge to get to the center of the landing. We are one of the most spacious, and private rental homes on Huletts Landing. We have almost complete privacy, only having one direct neighbor.
