This gorgeous home sits on the second basin of Crooked Lake and offers 50’ of lakefront with a sandy beach bottom. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat for your family, you’ve just found it!

Our home has 3 Bedrooms, 2 œ baths, and a large loft with sleeping quarters (In total it sleeps 16) Also, it offers a spacious living room, family room, dining area and a large utility room.

The main level offers two bedrooms, one king master suite with jacuzzi tub and one queen bedroom. It offers a large living room with an impressive wall of windows and a cozy gas log fireplace. The main level also offers a guest half bath and a massive storage closet. There is access to the loft area from the living room. The loft area has three queen beds with extra room. There is also a queen pull out coach located in the main level living room.

The lower level has an open floor plan with a chef’s dream kitchen, custom Amish cabinets, wine rack, pantry, and a utility closet that offers laundry on site. All appliances are stainless steel. There is a second gas log fireplace in the family room. An additional queen bedroom with separate deck access is located on this floor. A massive deck with propane grill is located off the family room. The lower level also has full bath.

Down the steps from the deck is a 20x50 foot waterside concrete patio. This area is perfect for games, relaxing in the sun and enjoying the beautiful views with friends and family.

This property has enough parking for up to 5 vehicles. Whether you are looking for a place for the holidays, a weekend getaway, a retreat or a summer vacation, this property will deliver the convenience and tranquility you desire and deserve.

Crooked Lake is an 802 acre ski lake just minutes from Pokagon State Park. Enjoy the spectacular views of lake life at the comfort of your home away from home.

We stayed here for memorial day weekend. Although the weather could have been warmer we had s great time! The hot tub was definitely a plus!

Everything was pretty good. Had to clean toothpaste spatter from a previous renter off the wall in the downstairs bathroom. We wish there was a Christmas tree or told there wouldn't be one. Especially since I asked ahead of time. Our last two rentals in the area had them. Would rent again if you would have us..

Pros: We loved the views and the ample bedrooms. The hot tub was a nice touch. I had no idea about the extra building across the street until a few days before our arrival. Lots of activities there. Nice long dining table.Con: The light switches were a puzzle for most of the stay between remotes and distance between some switches and the lights they controller.

Property was clean and as described. We especially love the kitchen, which is well stocked and the table which can easily seat 12. This is the second time we have stayed in this home, and the hot tub was a welcome addition!

Great time on Crooked Lake!

Nice weekend stay on Crooked Lake. Property was nice. No yard but nice concrete area for corn hole and hanging out. Large space good for lots of people. Nice dock and location.

Family Christmas

This was a perfect place to have our family Christmas. There was enough room for everyone and we were able to enjoy the hot tub as well. Everyone wants to go back again next year. :)

Home is very large and we love the multiple levels that allow our family to spread out. The multiple dining tables also allow us to all sit down and eat together. We have stayed multiple years in the winter, we all our time is spent indoors. That being said, the house could use some minor maintenance/TLC. For example, there’s a broken window in the loft that has been broken for over a year (when it’s windy, the plastic covering can be loud when trying to sleep), multiple broken bar stools, dining chairs wobbly and just need screws tightened, wobbly toilets, toilet paper holders coming off the walls, large stains on carpeting, dirty walls, etc. Also, additional stock of consumables to last at least a weekend (we ran out of toilet paper after only 24 hours).

Half way winter fun

This house was great! It was a halfway point for our at home kids and our away college kids. Everybody found it easily, had plenty of space to bring their boyfriends, and had a blast. A great weekend of all our kids under one roof!! Definitely will be back!

Beautiful Lakefront Property

This property was beautiful to stay at! The lake front view was a great bonus to wake up to each morning. The house has plenty of amenities to enjoy and the hot tub is very spacious! Parking is very tight and limited, so carpooling is critical to fit all of the cars. Otherwise, the house is excellent and can fit a large group of people comfortably!

Our trip to Angola, IN was to attend our son’s graduation from Trine! We had family coming in from Tennessee, Wisconsin and we drove in from Michigan. The rental was more than we had hoped for, and on our way home we found ourselves discussing about returning for another family gathering!

Great for family get together!

We get our family together every spring for a long weekend. This spot was perfect for our a central location for our family from Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin. This was a very nice house with lots of room for our family group of 10. Awesome kitchen and living room! Just wish we could have taken advantage of the hot tub, But, the weather did not cooperate! The Angola / Auburn area has a lot to offer!!!!

Lovely stay

Great property for a girls weekend! Is everything in perfect condition? No. But it was very clean, and the space is just amazing. The value is definitely there. The views, the hot tub, the lake access, and the well-stocked kitchen is just the short list of what we enjoyed here. I hope we can come back next year!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was the perfect property for a family weekend getaway. The kitchen was very well equipped, we didn’t need to worry about a thing! There was plenty of room for everyone. Beds were comfortable. If you want a firm pillow, bring your own. Most of them were too soft for our liking but everyone has their own opinion on that. Andy was very helpful prior to arrival with my tons of questions, making sure our stay would be perfect. We will definitely be back to this property.

Relaxing retreat

We had 4 adults and two teenagers and a young adult for a weekend getaway. Everything from the checkin process to leaving went without issues. Plenty of space and the teens all had a bed to themselves in the loft. Everything was tidy and clean. The view of the lake was fabulous. The owners attended to our questions very quickly. We are anxious to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. It was great to have two gathering areas. It was just the change of pace and scenery that we needed over the weekend.

Perfect for larger families

The pictures don’t do this home justice. The wall of windows facing the lake - wow!! Extremely clean and well equipped, this home was perfect for our family. Kitchen very large with all the appliances and pots/pans we needed. Loft with 3 beds was perfect for kids to have their own space. We spent the day tobogganing (@10 mins away) at Pokagon State Park, then the night playing cards and games at the house. Everyone agreed we need to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Fall break with grandkids

Hard to watch baseball playoffs when Tv is streaming.Wi-Fi was going in and out. Grandkids brought fishing poles to fish off dock and it was brought in already. Owner said it’s usually out till end of October. Hot tub was not ready for first night there, we had to turn up heat and wait till next day. Place was clean and had plenty of room. Lots of towels and rags. First VRBO that I had to make beds

Beautiful view!

Great place for gathering with friends. Big kitchen and lots of communal gathering space. We loved the hot tub! The view of the lake was unbeatable! We were disappointed to have to pay a nonrefundable cleaning fee and also make our beds upon arrival, strip our beds upon leaving, run the dishwasher and take the garbage to the curb. The 2 fire places were not working which the owner made us aware of the day prior to our arrival. He would not give us any financial compensation for that. Other small things like paper shades taped to the windows, stained carpets and a broken door stop made the house seem poorly maintained. That being said, we enjoyed the proximity to the state park and winery and had a wonderful stay.
