Excellent location and perfect for a family trip! The view was spectacular, the pools were nice and the beach was right in front of us. We loved it! Missy was great and answered right away for anything we needed. Thank you
Perfect option for two small families with young children, great floor plan for privacy and also shared spaces. Easy walk to the beach though along a busy road without sidewalks. Loved it and would definitely stay again!
This was a phenomenal place to build some strong memories with friends that will last a long time.
The center of the building was a great gathering spot for a bigger group of guests and we loved it. No need to leave the location if you want to keep the vacation on site. Very pleasant experience.
Thank you for your wonderful review, Michael! We are delighted that such great memories were created in our home. We truly hope to create more memories with your group again soon!
The beach is about a 3 block walk, pretty easy and a quick drive to Kure Beach restaurants and local attractions. House is spacious, kitchen is very well equipped, and the open floor concept makes the main areas seem larger.
We arrived on Saturday June 4th. At that time the house was set at 86 degrees with the air off. I contacted the property manager and they sent an HVAC company out on Sunday the 5th. The gentleman told us the air was spraying Freon and said he filled it and would let the property know. The temperature dropped down to 77 on Monday. By Tuesday it was hot again. I thought maybe it was were it was more humid out so I took the kids out and came home cooked and it shot up to 90 degrees. We couldn’t open the windows because there was no screens on them. We contacted the property again at 1:00 am on Thursday. They sent him back out he told my husband and I that he already told them it was leaking Freon and needed replaced. The lines were freezing up. It was so hot in that house my kids and I slept in the living room on a hardwood floor. I spent a lot more money trying to keep them out of the house and eating out because it was to hot to cook or be in the house. On Friday they put us in another home, which was nice with air. I appreciated that, but we only had one day left as we were leaving Sunday morning. We spent all day Friday getting settled into the new property and left on Sunday. I feel like I would have never payed that much if I knew I was going to be setting in the hot air at this property. The homes is beautiful and very inviting but the air is horrible and we dealt with this all week. I just feel out of the 9 days we were there we only got to enjoy half of them and wish we would have left way earlier.
Hi Amie! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear that you experienced this AC issue during your stay. We made efforts to get this fixed during your stay and ultimately had to replace the HVAC unit. We are deeply sorry to hear that you had to deal with this ongoing issue but we hope you give Carolina Beach Realty another chance on your next beach vacation.
