Country cottage with charm and old time feel and decor. Walls trimmed in cedar, tin ceilings and walls, barn door, unique bath and shower with 40 inch TV, stocked coffee bar with Keurig, refrigerator and microwave, ceiling fan, comfortable queen size bed, love seat. Has 1 blow up twin mattress Mini Split AC unit. Accommodations include WiFi, towels, toiletries, linens, bottled water, and snacks.

Welcome to our cozy little cottage in the country! Here you can experience peaceful and quiet evenings, relaxing by the fire pit, fishing out of the acre pond or just sit by the water and enjoy a fire on the dock in the chimina. You are 5 minutes from the quaint town of Emory where you will find restaurants, shopping, and supermarkets. You are 10 minutes from Lake Fork and Lake Tawakoni where there’s great fishing, 20 minutes from Canton’s historical First Monday and 25 minutes away from the charming town of Sulphur Springs. Plenty of parking for your boat! Come for the day or the week, relax and leave refreshed!

Beautiful property that was quiet and felt like ours the entire time. Most thoughtful hosts I have ever experienced. Absolutely perfect retreat for anyone looking to get some peace and quiet.
This was the fire pit that over looks the water. Perfect place to take in a Texas sunset.

Such a cute place on a relaxing ranch! It was perfect for the two of us, very creatively and intentionally designed. Comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the swings, rocking on the porch, and feeding the cows. Perfect spot for a sunset view.

Very nice cabin. Feeding the cows was a hit! We also enjoyed the lovely fire pit/fire place. Cute and clean with a lot of extra amenities you typically don't find.

Girls Trip

This is a beautiful property! Loved sitting on the dock in the morning taking in the sounds and sights of nature. Very peaceful and serene. Came with a friend to attend Canton Trade Days. We were there over 4th of July and were able to view a fireworks show and even a few more from the neighbors across the pond. The cabin was adorable. Would definitely return!

Stay was amazing, very comfortable. Very quiet. Fishing was great . Very beautiful property. Everything was amazing. Only complaint was the mosquitos lol we’ll definitely be booking again !! I will definitely recommend booking at the Double D!

Sweet little rental in a nice location not too far from 2 nice lakes and town. Definitely worth the stay.

Quiet and Relaxing

The property was beautiful and it had everything that we needed. It was such a relaxing get away with my spouse. We enjoyed fishing and caught around 15 fishes. We also enjoyed the fire pit and made some s’mores.

Amazing Little Getaway!

The owners gave us such a warm welcome and it was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer!

Emory trip

The cottage is cozy and well-equipped. There were some issues with the Wifi during our stay, but apparently the issue was area-wide. It was located very conveniently to the events we attended in the Emory area. We would definitely stay there again if we ever travel to this area in the future.

Cute, Comfortable and Clean

Cottage was cute, comfortable and clean! Although it’s close to the main house, it felt private as we didn’t see anyone else during our stay. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the scenery sitting out on the porch swing.
