Wine Country Lodge

The sunrise over Seneca Lake from this large comfy lodge type home are beautiful. This immaculate property features proximity to Seneca Lake and is directly on the Finger Lakes wine trail. The living room features a warm fire place, plush furnishings and is separate from the dining room and bedrooms. All newer furnishings and finishes throughout. Enjoy outdoor living on the lake facing deck which has a sitting and dining area or privacy on the West deck which is directly off the master suite.

This house was PERFECT for our wine tasting weekend! And Hosts were WONDERFUL. This will be my first choice going forward to stay in the fingerlakes!

The house is perfect. There were 6 of us and we were quite comfortable the entire time. Bedrooms are fantastic and sunken living room was the gathering place. Just an amazing place to stay!!

Property was generally well kept and well stocked. Use of the garage was a big plus for us. We used the property as the base camp for our cycling adventures in the area. Really liked the information provided by the owners.

We visit the Seneca lake area every year with some friends. This was the perfect location and home for what we needed. Everything was exactly as described The house was stocked with anything you would need. Loved the personalized information area when we arrived. Definitely recommend this property and look forward to next year’s visit.

Wine and e-bikes

Amazing location. Had a great time with friends in this 4 bedroom house. Brewery near by as well as a great BBQ place. Owners were amazing and let us get in a little early. The wall I. The kitchen with local places to eat or visit was a great touch.

Nothing but amazing things to say. Easy parking in a big driveway in a safe quiet neighborhood. Entire house is immaculately clean -kitchen and bathrooms prestige. Everything easy - towels waiting, clean blankets accessible in a beautiful sunken tv room. Light switches even labeled so you’re not going crazy to find the lights. Host responds immediately and is extremely friendly and accessible. I’ll stay here again!

Watkins Glen Area Getaway

Great choice for a family getaway! Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds, plus enough room for everyone. Location centrally located between Watkins Glen and Geneva on Seneca Lake!

We were there for a race around thr lake. Loved the property. Great location beautiful view of the lake. Short drive to stores and Geneva. Would love to stay here again.

Long weekend family reunion

This home had everything we needed, and was in a great location. My sisters and brother traveled from New England and I came from western Pennsylvania, and we all love wineries and breweries- which the area definitely has! The owners were very responsive and made us all feel welcome at this home.

Our New Favorite Place

We absolutely loved our stay at Wine Country Lodge! Everything was clean, inviting & comfortable. Hosts are kind and are quick to respond. The view from both porches is beautiful and the house is close to several wineries and Belhurst Castle. We hope to be back next year for our annual family reunion!

Wine Country Getaway

The house was clean and comfortable. The use of the garage helped us by allowing our vehicle to be inside overnights during our stays. The hosts were attentive and responded instantly to all messages and were very helpful with our planning by answering all of our questions. I highly recommend this host for your stay. They truly are a premier host. They have a lot of valuable information when you arrive to help you explore the wine country area and great places to see and hike through. Watkins Glen and the surrounding lakes, towns were all rich with history and great places to explore with the waterfalls. Beautiful area to vacation with so much to do.

Family wine tour

The house was in a perfect location on the lake and many close wineries and breweries. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine from a local winery which we all enjoyed. The house was large enough to accommodate my family and had all essentials for are stay. We wan to thank James and look forward to come back next year.

Warm and conveniently located home

This home had everything we needed. We traveled with 2 other couples for a weekend trip. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and we enjoyed the location. We visited wineries, breweries and restaurants. We cooked in one evening and the kitchen was well equiped. The beds were all comfortable. There was plenty of room to sit and visit as well as to get ready to go out. We felt safe.

Great spot

The house was great! We were in town for a triathlon in Geneva and the proximity was perfect. The house had everything we needed to have a great weekend. The host was very responsive and we really appreciated that. The only negative with our whole experience is that two of the upstairs bedrooms did not have AC vents and it was very humid and uncomfortable for sleeping. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

Perfect location

The house is beautiful kept and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything to cook every meal. The beds were super comfortable and loved the multiple bathrooms. We were there during a heatwave so not much time was spend on the beautiful deck. The air conditioning was great on the first and basement floors but was a bit warm for 2 of our guests in the bedroom. It was a heatwave and I’m sure during normal temps the room would have need perfect.

Great location on Seneca Lake!

We had 4 couples for a long weekend and this house had the perfect location. We spent the evenings playing games at the huge dining room table. Jim was very responsive to any questions we had and he gave us a great recommendation of Smokin’ Pete’s BBQ. Two notes - 2 upstairs bedrooms do not have AC vents and the master bedroom upstairs has no shower in the room. We made out just fine, though.

Just a few issues

Master suite did not have a shower and the toilet was in a small closet that seemed like an after thought. Not a huge deal, but we did have to share a shower with another couple staying with us when we thought we had three full baths. Also, air conditioning was very cold, since we were instructed not to touch the thermostat.
