Highly recommend! Great location, clean and convenient check-in/out process. However, kitchen facilities are lacking. Its missing: A Keurig, blender, normal size bowls, etc...

Enjoyable stay. Everything was great except the fire alarm in the building went off at 3am twice and we did see some roaches.

Terrible Customer Service

The Beach was beautiful but this resort is not worth the money! I had to purchase my own toilet paper and other supplies after paying a ton of money to stay in a 3 bedroom condo. Customer service is some default text and there are no staff members on site to help you. Will not stay here again.

Wouldn’t stay again

I booked this stay based on the listing and amenities. On the way to the condo we found out the indoor pool would be closed. (Previously only the lazy River and one hottub were listed as going to be closed). This was very upsetting as we had young children (and adults) looking forward to swimming. It was too cold to swim in the outdoor pools, which we knew was a possibility being early April. That’s why we made sure to book a place with an indoor pool. Neither VRBO or Vacasa were able to rectify the situation. Vacasa has multiple listings in that area and wouldn’t relocate us or refund us so we could find another place with the amenities we paid for and expected at this unit. We were told “the main pool will be open!”. Yeah an outdoor, freezing pool! A hottub that was barely Luke warm was open. It was very disappointing to spend all this money and not get what we were expecting! Otherwise the room was nice, views were beautiful, the king bed was hard as a rock, the kitchen had most of what we needed.. Very quiet area. Overall we would not stay again. Spend your money elsewhere.

Our family had an awesome time staying here. Check in and check out was such an ease. Also room was quite spacious and clean. We had no problem everything was a breeze. I especially liked the parking there was plenty. Thank you Vacasa I will definitely come back.

Less than satisfied

Kitchen did not have sufficient cookware nor utensils. Dishwasher required dishes to still be washed by hand. Dryer for clothing took 2 cycles to dry the items. Refrigerator dripped inside and took 24 hours to cool. Lobby and elevators were not air conditioned; both areas were too hot for comfort and we were perspiring. Balcony had glass that prevented air flow from the beach; sitting on balcony was in short periods due to the poor air circulation. On day 2 of our vacation, there was a water flooding in upper level if building that required dehumidifiers and commercial fans in 2 of the 3 bathrooms in our rental. This made these 2 bathrooms very hot, humid and unusable. We spent 5+ hours dealing with this water issue and the Relocation Team was not able to move us to another rental for the rest of our stay without piecemealing a to different floors and no guarantee we would have a rental for the rest of our reservation. Swimming pool on 5th floor was closed and not usable. The mini golf that was free in the rental agreement was 30 mins away from the rental and was fit for a toddler to enjoy. The other activities that were included in the package was misleading and not worth the time. Part of our choice in this reservation was based on the additional activities of mini gold, water park and go-kart options; these activities did not meet expectations. The tile floors were sanding when we arrived, appeared clean to the eye but our feet were constantly black from the unseen dirt.

Great stay until roaches came out…

The place is a little outdated which is fine. The smell was stale but air freshener fixed that. The sheets were dirty and the carpet was stained. The place could use a deep cleaning. Then we started seeing roaches and I was not happy. I called the 800 number and spoke with someone who said the property manager would call me back soon but it wasn’t until the morning. Finally got a call from the manager the next morning and they sent the maintenance/pest person and he laid traps and dust. It didn’t work because they came back. You get 2 parking passes (which is fine) and then you have to park across the street which is sketchy at night. The pool was freezing! The best part was the beautiful view and great beach access.

The area was perfect and the unit was decent. The bedroom I slept in was super dusty, when I turned the ceiling fan on the dust whipped around the room all over my blankets and clothes. quite a few of the dishes where dirty as well. We chose Bahama Sands because they had a year round heated pool, the pool was not working as it was leaking and the outdoor pools were not heated. It was a bummer as we had small children that were eager to swim. There were 2 hot tubs, 1 was ok but packed because there was no pools to swim in and 1 was gross, green and smelly. I never give bad reviews but we really needed this vacation coming out of a terrible year. I hope things look up for Bahama sands luxury condos.
