Experience the heart of the Sonoran Desert with it's wildlife and surreal saguaro cacti, a nice distance away from the more congested virus areas, yet only a leisure 30 minute drive toTucson's downtown Arts and Restaurant district should you want to venture into town. This is a grand 6 bedroom artistic solar adobe home located adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. The Park Visitor Center and the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum are only a few minutes away, both of which you don't want to miss. In addition, there are hiking and mountain bike trails in abundance to satisfy your sense of adventure. End the day soaking in your own private hot tubs under a star filled sky.

Alma Del Sol strives to be an example of environmental consciousness by utilizing eco-friendly solar energy and water recycling systems, along with architectural and landscape design to highlight the natural open space of the great American Southwest.

There is a storage area for bicycles for cyclist. There's also plenty of parking on the property and we can accomodate an RV.

Christmas family get together

We were so happy with all aspects of this property. The house was clean and well equipped for our large group. I would say the only problem we had was the size of the galley kitchen. For our group it was a challenge! Marshall was very communicative and kind and responsive to any concerns we had.

Great team retreat spot

This vrbo provided a great space for our team of 10 to come together for a great balance of fun and work. The spacious living room was great for meetings, and the location was perfect for exploring Saguaro National Park or even just staying on the property to enjoy the beautiful desert landscape. Marshall was very communicative and accommodating.

Incredible Location and Host!

Marshall is incredibly kind and helpful. He sent us ample information prior to our arrival to get familiar with the home and recommendations for activities or restaurants in the area. He was incredibly fast to respond when we had questions before and during our stay. The home was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The large kitchen was perfect for our group and all the cooking we did. There was ample outdoor space for our group activities. There is so much access to all the nearby natural environments.

I'm an artist and teach middle school art. I also owned a solar energy company which led to the construction of Alma Del Sol, the name being a play off English and Spanish, mean Soul of the Sun (Sol).

I built this home myself as a reflection of my commitment to environmental concerns and issues we face and must find solutions for. This rental allows me to share both the artistic aspects and environmental design that should be the aesthetic in everyone's life, if it's not, you don't know what you are missing.

Views, views and views of Mountains and the most surreal cactus environment you will ever experience, as the home is located adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Due to it's proximity to the National Park, most of the major attractions are only minutes away.

In addition, this home is made of real mud adobe and will give you an incredible architectural experience. Despite it's 10 acres of privacy, it's only a leisure 30 minute drive from downtown Tucson.

It has modern entertainment systems, so after a fun day of running around you can relax to a movie, listen to music, soak in a hot tub and enjoy the benefits of free broadband WiFi and and on-site computers to keep you in touch with family back home.
