Glen Cottage at Cozy Nook

Glen Cottage, one of the 5 cottages at Cozy Nook is named after the beautiful Glen Islands of Lake George. This cottage has been completely renovated and updated in 2020. Glen Island Cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with two twin beds. A living room has a couch and table with seating for 4. A kitchenette contains a stove top burner, microwave, mid-sized refrigerator and drip coffee maker. Also available are a small assortment of pots, pans, dishes, cups, mugs and silverware. Linens and towels will NOT be provided. Parking is available directly outside the cottage. Available just off the front porch for guests are a gas grill, fire pit, outdoor table and outdoor seating. A yard is available for your favorite Summer activities! Welcome to Cozy Nook Cottages, just minutes from the Main Strip in Lake George and from the Lake George Shopping Outlets. The town beach is 1.5 miles from Cozy Nook Cottages the bike trail is directly across the street, bring the bikes, bring the kids and have some fun on the bike trail. Weekly rentals only during July and August.

Cute cottage, central location

Our family of 4 enjoyed our time at Glen Cottage. It was clean and fully equipped. The hosts were responsive. It offers privacy, but is still close to shops, downtown Lake George and lots of great activities.

This teeny, tiny cottage was fine for us three adult people to have a place to sleep and shower in. There are some portable heaters there which was good because the last night was pretty chilly. Beds were firm. You'll need to bring bedding. There's only a hot plate if you plan to cook any food. No stove. The couch was the worst item in the cottage. There's no support in that whatsoever...

Excellent property at the Lake

This was much more than expected for a cottage at the lake. Very clean and accommodating for our family. Room for everyone to do their own thing when necessary. We used the fire pit nightly as the owners offered to order wood to be delivered before our arrival and more when we needed more! Such a nice comfortable place to stay for our vacation at the lake!

Great cottage for a family

This home was a perfect size for the 4 of us and our dog. The house was very clean. Very close to the LG Beach and main shops as well as the highway. The house was well equipped w everything we needed to get us started on vacation. Communication with our host was very good. The kids (7 & 9) were able to ride their bikes on quiet road in front of the house. We loved our week long stay without any complaints.

Anniversary trip

Very cute cottage but when we moved chair by air conditioner, there was trash under chair and cobwebs in windows in kitchen. Should have blind in kitchen window as cottage is close to other cottage. Pretty noisy with highway close by.

Cozy

Very cozy, everything we needed. Easy access to all activities, in Lake George, Saratoga Springs and Queensbury. We utilized delivery of firewood, which we enjoyed every night.

Cozy and comfortable

This cottage was a great spot to enjoy what the area has to offer. It was in close proximity to everything, it was a 5 minute drive to lake george. it was cozy and comfortable and perfect for myself, husband and small dog. We throughly enjoyed our stay at glen cottage and will be sure to book again in the future.

Simple and sweet

Very nice dog friendly place to stay. My college age daughters and I had a lovely time. The cottage is small but comfortable. Location is really convenient. The hosts were very responsive. I recommend!

Nice vacation

Was very nice, the only thing is that the side window on the living room doesn't have blinds and is not privacy the people on the next house could see us, we put a towel. But everything else was good.

As a family we purchased the Cozy Nook Cottages in 2020. We spend most of the summer camping in the Adirondacks, especially Lake George. We love the family, friendly feel and open space available at the cottages. The location is perfect to head into town and enjoy the day at the beach, have dinner on the water and then go back to the cottages for a campfire and some s'mores. We are updating them and adding our own personal touches and we hope that you will enjoy them as much as we do.
