Private use of a 4 bedroom/ 2 bath house in downtown Richmond, KY with backyard fire-pit.
Walk to the City Park, Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), Downtown, Shopping, Restaurants, Bars, 5 mins to I-75 & all Richmond has to offer.

The Wellington was built in 1950 and has retained all her charm, along with her upgrades. There is a new concrete walk, front parking pad, side parking pad, front patio (with patio furniture and umbrella in season), back deck (with commercial grill and deck furniture), landscaping, tree swing, and a fire pit with seating. Also, new basement bonus room, with games, and laundry room.

This house is beautiful! There was so much room for me and my two adult children. We loved every detail. Enjoyed playing games and how comfortable everything was. Definitely recommend! So convenient to Berea and Lexington too!

Born/raised in Kentucky, I know the importance of having roots and wings. There is comfort in knowing that you can always go home and excitement in testing your limits. Travel is the best education and home should be wherever you unpack.

The second best education is Eastern Kentucky University, my alma mater. I was honored to be selected as an EKU Distinguished Alumni, for professional achievement, in 2021.

The Wellington was an impulse buy!
During COVID, I was distraught at the inability to meet my parents (in assisted living) in their home or anywhere. I didn't live nearby so, each time I travelled to Richmond I stayed with friends or in a hotel. I wasn't content with my parents just waving at me from their balcony, while talking on our cell phones just 10 feet away. I wanted to be closer.

I drove around Richmond and saw the For Sale Sign. The location and neighborhood is perfect - walking distance to just about everything (EKU, downtown, restaurants, bars, shops, and my parents home). The house had everything I wanted, so I made an offer and it was accepted the same day.

Six weeks later, I returned to close on the house and have Thanksgiving Dinner in my new home, with my parents.

This is the house that love for family, building memories and peaceful contentment was envisioned. I hope your family will build new precious memories and enjoy the Wellington, as much as mine does.
