Escape to the beautiful and peaceful Nueces River with the riverfront dragonfly house!! The dragonfly house is the perfect place to bring your friends and family and make unforgettable memories. The crystal-clear Nueces River is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing. From watching the wildlife in the mornings and evenings, watching a beautiful Texas hill country sunrise, or star gazing at night, this quiet cabin will not disappoint. Amazing hills and river views can be seen from the large deck. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy your stay. This house provides the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful and relaxing trip that you will surely enjoy!!!! Need room for more family and friends? We have a total of six cabins on this 11-acre riverfront property.

You will also enjoy the fabulous Texas Hill Country with its spectacular scenery. Bird watching, biking, hiking, and hunting are popular in this area. *This house is located in Montell, TX, 30 minutes from Uvalde, 10 from Campwood, and about 2 hours from San Antonio. In this area AT&T cell service works well, I have been told Verizon doesn`t, so you might want to check about service in the area before you come if you don`t have AT&T.

Renter Responsibilities During your stay: DO NOT BRING MORE PEOPLE THAN ALLOWED IN YOUR UNIT OR YOU SAID WERE COMING(Max 10 occupants, with a max of 8 adults); they will be asked to leave! If you plan on having any day visitors, you must get prior approval through email or text; if prior authorization is not received, they will not be allowed. Only up to 4 DAY visitors are permitted during your stay. Each visitor, no matter the age, will cost $25/person per day of visiting. Visiting hours are only from 8 am - 8 pm. We have the right to refuse or remove any visitors at any time!

The list of NOs:—No parking on the grass, No ATVs, No Fireworks, No pets, No smoking inside(if you smoke outside, put all butts in the trash to avoid being charged), No littering, No loud music, No glass containers in or near the river, No discharge of firearms, No offensive language or behavior, Fires only in firepits and bbq pits. To reduce visits by insects and rodents, please wipe up food spills and store food and trash properly.

At the end of your stay, to avoid being charged! *wipe up any spills(charge will vary) *wash and put away all dishes and utensils(Charge $35) *Empty refrigerator of any food items(charge will vary) *Pick up any items dropped in the yard (ex: trash including cigarette butts, broken water balloons, bottles, cans, etc.)(charge $35) *Put all trash in garbage cans(charge $35) *Put all used towels in the laundry room or bathroom. *Turn off all lights and all air conditioning and heaters. TVs & Wi-Fi We do not have satellite service, but there are smart TVs, so you can log into your accounts and watch. Be sure to log off when you leave. DON`T FORGET TO LOG OUT OF TV`S

Bedding and towels are provided. Some toilet paper and paper towels will also be provided. Bring your own hair and body supplies. We have a Keurig coffee pot with pods and a full pot; bring your coffee, pods, and filters if needed.

For Emergencies: Call 911. The Emergency Address is 741 CR 411, Uvalde. Uvalde Memorial Hospital is 830-278-6251, 1025 Garner Field Rd, Uvalde, TX (a 30-minute drive from the house). Take Hwy 55 south to Uvalde.
