Wonderful stay!

It’s a really beautiful place! We loved our time there and will most definitely come back. Cynthia was really great to work with, helped with all our questions beforehand, while we were there and so quick replying when we had questions. The water was amazing. Deep, so just plan for that if you have little kids. All of our crew LOVED it!! We got to relax so much and enjoy the clean beautiful water without any crowds.

We could not find a hotel in Uvalde the week before Memorial weekend. We are a incident management team supporting the local government. This owner worked with us to make sure we had a place to rest our heads after a long day.

Beautiful riverfront property

This resort has beautiful grounds and amenities. Our cabin was nice and comfortable. The only negatives are the poor wifi service, and the shared docks/river access points get congested. The river is quite deep so not ideal for young kids to just play. There are few spots that are less than 6 ft deep. The scenery is beautiful, and we were able to tour the larger "lodges" that were vacant at the time- those are phenomenal for larger families or multiple couples to share.

Beautiful Getaway

My husband and I looked for a beautiful place to stay and we were not disappointed. The Riv superseded our expectations!!! Cynthia checked us in and helped us fill up our tubes and was the sweetest lady ever. She made the stay even better. The place was beautiful and everything you could ever imagine was already there for you to use and take advantage of. The security was awesome and it felt as if we were in another world. I would recommend this place for a family gathering or wedding venue for sure. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon! Thank you for everything!!!!

Just amazing

We absolutely loved our stay here . We rented 2 cabins. We were there to celebrate my mother in laws birthday! Everything about this place was beyond perfect, the beauty, the cabins, the staff! This was our 2nd year and can not wait to come back again! You guys we amazing thank you!!

River Vacay

We had a good and relaxing trip. Other than a few inconveniences like less that satisfactory cookware and spotty internet, everything was wonderful. I did find having to rent a pavilion to be a shock as I didn’t see it in the listing (but could have missed it) but well worth the money. As this property grows over time, I hope they add more river access points. We will be back. Our kids had a great time!

The Riv 2020

We had a group of six and all enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent and this was our first time here and first time on the Nueces River as we usually go to the Comal or Frio. The water and location was excellent and the cabins were new and clean. The amenities made the stay even better with a very nice fire pit, charcoal and gas grills and well maintained grounds. We will return to the Riv and will also recommend it to our friends.

Greatest weekend ever!

where do i start? the cabin and property is amazing!! you get the full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a fire pit, a charcoal pit and a gas grill! me, the wife and 3 kids had a GREAT time. the river is beautiful! and there is a nice river bank area thats perfect for small kids a 1 minute drive outside the gates. we dealt with Cynthia and she was awesome. she even stopped at one point to help my son get his kite out of the tree and untangle the rope. we cant wait to go back!!

Our last summer trip for 2019

No doubt we would like to come back, couple of small things that can be better. Had trouble opening the door with the code. The shower water leaked into the kitchen other than that our stay was amazing, property was very clean and well taken care of. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

Best Family Vacation

Everything from booking to checkout was a breeze. The cabin was very clean and the location is absolutely amazing!!! From the view, nights out on the back patio, to the river, best vacation I’ve had. Everyone that we came in contact with were so kind and helpful. I had a million questions and every single one of them were answered. The Nueces River is amazing & only like a 2 minute walk from the cabin. The Frio River is about 30 miles away and the drive to it was breathtaking. You can go be with the crowd and return to peacefulness. The local town is about 5 minutes away which Was very convenient for us. We live near Galveston, Texas & we thought the drive would be long and boring but it wasn’t at all and the scenery is so worth it. We are already planning to go back this year.
