The Space:

Welcome to the SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays, the premier condominium in the heart of Destin situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! The onsite Scenic Stays team at SunDestin looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. The experience of a lifetime awaits! SunDestin Beach Resort features expansive onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, outdoor tiki bar (open seasonally), workout facility, event/meeting space, gift shop, complimentary DVD rentals and much more!



Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1601, you are greeted by a fully appointed, well stocked kitchen for home cooked meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room concept immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!



Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom or the double bed and twin bed located in the guest bedroom, while the kids relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

Beautiful view

Condo itself was amazing, clean and an amazing view. The property had alot of renovations going on so we were woke up every morning around 7am from drills and workers. Only inside pool was open.

Not what I paid for.

Not only was all the pools closed and crew men in our way everywhere we went. I also decided to use the one amenity that was working the hot tub. The next day I had an e. coli bladder infection from the unclean water. Then we used the washers on our floor and it caught on fire. This caused the clothes we washed to smell like a chemicals. I would never ever stay at this resort again.

Great Place

Ice maker wasn't working so bring your own ice if it hasn't been repaired | Refrigerator looks like it was at a battle zone. Dishwasher is not easy to open. For the price you pay to stay here, I guess it's not too bad since the view is amazing. Great corner, which was very quiet and semi-private.

The tv in the living room didn't work and the fan in the master bedroom did not work. The refrigerator was not working well either. For what you pay it would be nice to have these things fixed and in good working order.

Beautiful View.

Nice condominium on the 16th floor with a beautiful view towards the ocean, the side windows face the next door condo windows & eliminate some privacy. But not a big deal. we just closed the drapes at night. Kitchen has all the necessary items including small appliances like a small kerig, coffee pot (no filters), toaster and blender. The salt and pepper shakers are empty, so plan on bringing that as well as all other seasonings. Bed was comfortable enough and the shower pressure is amazing! We love Sundestin and will be back in the spring. Super friendly staff! The condo sleeps 7 but it was just the two of us. So we had a lot of room. Other items you might need are paper towels and extra napkins.

The couch in the unit badly needs to be replaced uncomfortable and stains all over it. It seems to be the case and most of the units at sundestin bed was comfortable. All the bathrooms were nice. Kitchen was nice. It would be nice if they would give you more than two trash liners for a week’s day. Also, you would think at the price that we paid for one week that they could at least exchange the linens one time . you’re there to be on vacation and not to be doing laundry for two hours. There was no coffee or coffee filters provided in the kitchen for even one time. Use. The unit was quite and great view.
