A stylish comfortable well appointed apartment in a 125 year old 2 family home. A Back yard with a picnic table, fire pit, hammock and other seating surrounded by perennial gardens and flower pots. All only steps away from a quaint New England Downtown with a few dozen restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Including a brewery, arcade bar, axe throwing, escape room, coffee roaster and chocolate shop. As well as art spaces, a Homestead museum, rails to trails and several fairs and festivals. Located in the center of the state you have easy access all Connecticut has to offer. In an hour15 to 2 hours you can take a day trip to NYC, Boston, The Cape, Berkshire mountains, Providence and New Port RI. The whole first floor is it depicted in the pictures, they will be made available as soon as the rooms are done.
Less than 10 minutes to Lake compounds amusement park, Bear Creek camp ground, ESPN and Mount Southington. Centrally located in the center of the state, 30 minutes from Hartford or New Haven. Less than two hours to NYC, Boston, Cape Cod Providence or Newport, RI beaches. Or is history or thing enjoy all that the constitution state has to offer or you can just enjoy the back yard with a picnic table, plenty of seating and a comfortable hammock.

We stayed on the 2nd floor. Every room had an air conditioner so we were comfortable during a warm long weekend. Back wood stairway was a little rickety to climb, but I have no complaints! Great place to stay and so close to downtown. Lots of things to do and see (art/music). Good pizza and a brewery right across the street!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. The stairs are safe but yes need to be replaced and doing so very soon. Also widening the upper deck to the maximum (10 to 16”) allowable to fit the structure beneath. To fit a couple more chairs.

Space was cozy. James is an excellent host who is very responsive and willing to stop by and give guidance or additional items if needed. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking just about anything. Loved having coffee on the enclosed porch in the mornings. Also appreciated the proximity to the local attractions. Came for soccer in Farmington. Was an easy drive and appreciated having laundry facilities. Would stay again!

The host was great, listing was amazing the location was great , no noise . Beds where comfy. And only thing I can say negative is the coffee pit might need replacement I would've said something to host but , I made it work it kept putting grinds in the coffee, and wouldn't drip right but I would definitely stay there again good money for the property.

I’m sorry you had a problem with the coffee maker. If the paper filter is not ripped coffee grounds would stay in the coffee basket. I’ll have a look at it right away. Thanks for taking such good care of my rental property.

We enjoyed our stay there. Excellent location, we could walk to any of the several restaurants across the street. The walkways and driveway were cleared of snow for us which was really nice to not have to worry about that. He even cleared off the car. If we're ever in the area again we would stay here again for sure.
