Archie’s House is a short 10 minute drive from Hermann or New Haven, MO and a 25 minute drive from Washington, MO, with transportation service offered by the Hermann Trolley, Uber & Lyft. With plenty of off-street parking and early check-in upon request, the newly remodeled home is the perfect place to meet for a girls weekend, friends trip, wedding, or just a quick getaway. Featuring a full kitchen, 4 queen beds and 2 full baths, the home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. The outdoor patio space is the perfect place for hangouts after the winery, while the basement offers a game room.

Archie’s Place was great for a quick weekend in Hermann for Octoberfest. We were only 5-10 minutes from Hermann, and it was a nice, quiet place.

Girls Trip

The house was perfect for a girls weekend with plenty of space to sit and relax in the house and outside. The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds and furniture were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Although not located in Hermann, it’s a quick drive, and ride share information was at the house to utilize. I don’t have a single complaint!

Wonderful Stay

A group of 6 girls stayed at this property for a weekend in Hermann. We had such a fantastic time! The house was so clean and beautiful! They truly did a fantastic job fixing up the house and it had everything we needed for the stay. The trolley picked us up at the house and took us everywhere we needed to go. We couldnt have asked for a better stay.

Perfect Getaway Spot

My family and I travelled to Hermann for the weekend and Archie's House was the perfect spot to stay. So clean, very cute and so cozy. Greg has everything you would need in the kitchen, and extra pillows, blankets and towels. The trolley does travel out to Berger to pick you up for the winery tour (for an additional $5 due to the out of town pick up). Overall, an excellent stay and we will be returning to this spot for our next trip to Hermann!

Super clean and modern

Archie's House is conveniently located in Berger, MO (not too far from Hermann, MO). The place is ultra-clean and pristine! The appliances are all very modern and the place was well-stocked with bath towels and washcloths. In addition, the kitchen was also very well stocked. Communications with Greg (the host) prior to arrival was great and he was very responsive to questions we had. We really enjoyed this delightful house and it housed the 3 couples more than adequately.

Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay! Only about a 10 min drive to Hermann. Trolley was able to pick us up and take us to the wineries so no need to worry about transportation. Everything was so clean and cozy. Will be back to stay again! We had a someone leave their shoe behind and the host was so generous to get it sent back to her! Thank you!

Great place near Hermann!

Great house and great host. Located just 5 miles from Hermann, it was convenient to get to town, but peaceful and quiet place to relax after a busy day in town. The house is immaculate and new or nearly new. Two Queen bedrooms and a bath on the main floor plus a large, upstairs bedroom with two queen beds and a beautiful bath with a walk-in shower make this property perfect for couples or families. We visited as two couples, so we each had privacy by using up and down. The kitchen is very well equipped and a nice area to gather. The living room isn’t huge, but the “L shaped sofa plus two side chairs provided comfortable seating for us. In fact, the soda was really comfy! We had ample linens and the host provided regular coffee and Coffeemate creamer. We didn’t use the basement but noted there was a football table there. Easy check in and check out. My only notice to future guests who may have mobility concerns, there are several long, running steps to get to the door with no railing, so could be difficult for done. We are really glad we found Archie’s Pkace and would definitely stay here again!

Great girls getaway weekend

This little house was a great getaway place for me and my best friends from college. The house was neat and tidy and provided all of the things that we needed! The owner was great at communication and even allowed us to check in early! Great overall stay.

Girls Christmas weekend

This is the cutest little place. So cozy and inviting. It isn’t to far from town, able to get trolley or Uber so wineries do not pose a problem. Very clean little home. We are already making plans to come back in spring and fall. The home owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to request.

Comfy, Charming, & Clean

Great place to get together with a big eat-in kitchen, 3 separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Two chairs and a long L-shaped sectional offer plenty of seating in the cozy living room. Downstairs has plenty of space to play foosball and do laundry.

I highly recommend this place. It is a very cute house. It is kept very clean. We also loved the the trolley would pick us up to take us to town , to the wineries and then back home when ready.

Fabulous stay

This was a great place to stay. Two bedrooms on main floor, upstairs has one very large room with bathroom and two queen beds, and own air conditioner up there. Very nice and one in our party elderly 78 the other two were disabled stairs are on this property inside abd out it worked out ok for us we just went up and down stairs slowly and used handrails. Plenty of towels blankets and coffee filters and coffee. They even hand little hotel bottle ms of shampoo and wash. Just great place and so so clean and everything you need is here. We will go back to this property. Thank you Greg

Hi there, my name is Greg. I'm the owner & manager of Archie's House, named after my uncle who resided in the house. Archie was well known in the area for being a good natured guy full of stories and laughs. After he left to reside in a care facility, I purchased the house from his two daughters, my cousins. They both live out of state, so I thought it would be fun to rehab their childhood home for them to come back to when they're in Missouri for a visit. The house has been completely remodeled, inside and out with the comfort of guests in mind. In between my cousin's visits, I thought I'd share the reap of my efforts with all the fine folks visiting the area. I invite you to stay at Archie's House to relax, have fun, and make memories while visiting Wine Country.
