There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Great room! Bathroom could use some up date. If your taking a shower. Turn on hot water. Go grocery shopping and come back. Should be hot by then. We mainly love the hotel because it's pet friendly and we love the staff.

We loved the cleanliness, It’s location is really good and it’s very convenient to the beach. The pool was really nice and clean and our dog loved walking on the beach. We will definitely be back!!

Hotel pools and hot tubs were nice and well maintained. Rooms were a bit dated and not the cleanest. Seemed to have some plumbing issues but most of the staff were friendly and overall it was a good experience.

Best stay ever

Me and my wife getaway and we love ocean park resort everytime. They have great staff and we love that we can bring our far baby. The hotel is great but if you like to cook. You better bring your owen kitchen stuff.

Loved ocean front and pool areas. Needed-dish cloth in kitchen and a baking sheet. Shower nozzle did not work well. Took forever to get hot water. No sustained pan to pick up sand that we sweeper off floor. Had to exchange keys because they stopped working.

Didn’t love my stay. The building is old and in need of renovation. The toilets didn’t work well, had the plumber in 3 times. The AC unit housing was left leaning on the ground, the unit itself leaked water all over the balcony. There are no amenities. No pool bar or coffee in the morning. The dog area was small and not very clean. The air in the elevators. The staff used the elevators with the guests though the posted signs stated it was forbidden. The elevators were packed with more than one group party and during a pandemic, that was dangerous. Very disappointed and won’t stay again.

Beautiful view

The hotel was very nice and also affordable. Very clean, and it was really nice to wake up to a view of the ocean each morning.. Having a stove in the room came in ultra-handy, and it was great being able to vacation with the pup.

Winter Break

Loved the ease of registering and ample parking. Outdoor spa is huge and oh so warm. Hot tub was relaxing. We came in December, so not many people here at all. Days were still warm enough for walks on the beach and she'll collecting.

Wonderful Visit and Great Hospitality!

We recently stayed at the Ocean Park Resort and absolutely loved our facilities there. All staff members (including the check-in/out clerks, maintenance staff, and building workers) went out of our way to make my husband and our fur baby feel at home. I would highly recommend the Ocean Park Resort for any upcoming visits you make to the South Myrtle Beach area, especially if you have small dogs. They go out of their way to make you feel great. The groomers at the Furology Spa, located on the first floor, love animals and deliver top-notch grooming (which is an added bonus to anyone that brings their dogs). Thanks again for a wonderful stay! The only regret I have is not staying longer. See you next year!

Everything we had hoped for. High floor, dog friendly, Ocean front view. Easy beach access. Options for pool and hot tub. Surrounding area is easy to walk or drive. Local grocery store isn't that far away.

Room and ocean front view was great. Loved the gym and indoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem was that a pest control person wanted to spray our room while our dogs were in it, we said no way and I told the front desk about it.

Family stay during spring break

The property was mostly as expected. The only downfall was being spring break it was very busy and there was only 1 set of elevators so there was always lots of waiting our turn. The staff was very friendly and pool's were open so that was also a plus, since we weren't sure with the covid protocols.
