The quaint and cozy Cottage is situated on the 9 acre Iron Horse property and conveniently located on the south end of Mt. Shasta. This property is set up as a gorgeous outdoor venue and also has a working horse ranch located on the property. The Cottage can sleep up to 4 people. It is a 2 BR 1 BA house that is fully furnished with all linens and towels and a furnished kitchen all with beautiful surrounding mountain views and a unique location.

Peaceful mountain stay

My family and I stayed at the cottage for the weekend. Great Accommodation, right off the fwy. Very clean and comfortable. Ruth is an amazing host. We will definitely return!

Quaint Country Living

Great little cottage on a property with lots of room to roam. Our dog was loving her morning walks romping in the snow. The cottage had everything we needed for a long weekend. When we arrived we found the place warm and welcoming. Close to both town and the slopes.

Unable to stay - host wasnt available

My overall impression was super disappointed. My travel partner had several flight delays and cancelation and when i reached out to host- i was told no problem i could change reservation. When in reality my reservation never got changed by host , i was charged and vrbo also did nothing. I was charged and never stayed.

You can tour the property and enjoy the beauty without crowds and people! It feels like you are far away from the world, yet you are just minutes to the many beautiful attractions in the Mt. Shasta area and only a few minutes from the heart of downtown Mt. Shasta.
