Loft cabin #1, room for the whole family. Beautiful area.

Cabin #1 of 5 tastefully decorated family cabins available with a 'fun' loft to sleep up to 8 guests. On the front porch is a rocking chair and pew for sitting out on starry nights. Rural area with many wildlife, but close to many attractions, including but not limited to the Mississippi town of Muscatine, Iowa. Many activities at the camp, with acres of timber and trails that run along the Cedar River. Plus our brand new swimming pool, horseshoes, basketball, sand volleyball, 2 playgrounds. Cabins are heated and air conditioned for comfort. All cabins have fire pits, charcoal grills and picnic tables. Pool is closed for the season.
During summer months, enjoy access to our NEW pool and bath house!

Great weekend!

Our family of 6 loves our stay! The cabin was a nice size with plenty of room for four kids and parents. The pool was beautiful; I think the kids would have stayed just for the pool! Location was easy to find, and was nice and quiet. I am sure we will be coming back again next summer!

Great Cabin In Iowa!!!

Truly enjoyed the overall experience and so happy to find a great place to stay on our annual fall trip to Iowa! We will definitely be back again next year! We would highly recommend the cabin for any one looking to stay in the area! Thank you for everything!

Cabin in the sticks

My wife and I had a great time. The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. There are also plenty of grassy areas and wooded areas to enjoy. I would recommend a vehicle with large tires because of the gravel roads. Thank you.

The bird 🐦

Checking was wonderful. We were in town for my sister's memorial service. After dinner out and spending time with my brother and sister inlaw, we returned to the cabin and was met by the owner with a humongous flash light for us to use, as the power had been out for several hours. After a couple of hours we decided it was just too hot and ended up spending the rest of the night at my son's house. The property owner contacted us that a bird was the culprit. .The owner apologized again the next afternoon. To no fault of theirs for the issues of our visit, We are returning in two weeks for another visit. Our daughter loved the loft and our puppy appreciated the height of the bed ,she could run under it to get her ball. Highly recommended property. Wonderful owners.

Great glamping trip with the kids

We had a blast staying at this cabin. They do a lot to make sure the kids have fun, including movie nights, kids games and an on-site playground. My boys loved the bunk beds and the loft. We struggled some without internet or tv, but it was a good way to force us to disconnect! Also, the kitchen has the bare essentials, so come prepared to cook off the grill or microwave and bring food storage containers if you expect to have leftovers.

Nikki, Lee and their teenage daughter Emilee are the hosts. The owners are Jim and Freda Sojka, third wind entrepreneurs with a longtime dream of buying this camp so close to our home. It has been a church camp since the 70s, we wanted to convert it to something families could enjoy. We also love a family business to run together.
We love to share our good fortune, through the sale of a successful business, (Bug Soother)this is an excellent way to be able to do that.

Beautiful area, within 10 minutes of our home. We fell in love with it several years ago, and finally were able to purchase the property.

With 53 acres of timber and trails along the Cedar River, our cabins are perfect for the outdoor explorer. Plus, with our brand new swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and 2 playgrounds, there are plenty of activities for all ages. During the summer season, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, and relax.

We have 2 big buildings that hold events, and a large commercial kitchen to cater to events.

The Ranch is set up to make some memories.

Also on the property will be a transitional living community for women in crisis. By staying at the ranch, people are supporting a fresh start for these women.
