Third Year!

This is our third year staying at this facility. The facility was neat, clean, and quiet. The services and staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to next year.

Stay in Orlando Gran hotel

The hotel was easy to find and location is great but this place is Old, it needs remodeling ASAP. Towel holders are falling to the floor, toilet paper holder are detached from walls leaving wholes behind it and there were roaches. The beds and sheets were clean. Carpet on floors are coming apart. Breakfast area doesn’t look nice either, coffee was horrible. would not recommend a stay at this place.

This property was not at all what we expected. It is very old the lamps are rusted and in need of up dated furniture. It took us and hour to check in. We were lead to believe that there was free shuttle to the Disneyland when in fact we had to pay for it along with the breakfast that we also thought was free. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it.

It Works...If you know what you are getting

There are a lot of reviews on the Grand Hotel of Orlando that were mixed and we found it to sit in the middle of them. There was old and worn out/damaged things throughout the property and rooms, and shows the age and lack of proper upkeep and care. It was cheaper than most and the breakfast was not different then most hotel continental breakfasts - mid but edible. Check-in was slow as they only had one person working the counter and I had to run payments on my card for each individual room instead of one lump sum for the room group (not well thought out/executed). If you know that you are getting it will work, but might be worth paying a little extra if you have the capital.

Overall review

The facility is well kept and clean. The facility is also located central to resturants, WalMart, and the convention center. The morning breakfast was also good and sufficient. The pool and weight room ere also an added feature. The boys enjoyed the pool.
