Cozy camp located in Elk County adjoining state game land.

Located on a 1 acre lot. Our home has a fully equipped kitchen upstairs with an open kitchen and living room. The living room has a TV and a sectional. The bedroom upstairs has a king bed and there is a bathroom upstairs with a shower and a tub. The bottom entrance has a bathroom with a shower and one bedroom with a bunk bed that has a double bed on the bottom and single on top and a queen bed is in the room also.

May 2025 new trail opens ( trail of dreams) for ATV's within walking distance from camp.

Cozy Camp

Our stay was just what we needed. Easy access to multiple venues in the area we visited. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Jennifer was great with answering any and all questions quickly.

Great place close to riding trails

We stayed for a weekend and brought our side by side. We could leave right from the place to get on the trails. The property is nice and the place was perfect!

Elk Viewing

We enjoyed our stay. The internet was easy to access, and happy it had a walk in shower. We only used the upstairs, and there was plenty of room for two people. I would stay again.

Quiet retreat

My husband and had the opportunity to stay a long weekend in July. We had a wonderful time! Although there are houses nearby, the property is tucked back in and nestled into the woods. The house is a simple retreat perfect for the two of us and our dogs!

Awesome location

We were in the area for an extended family party in St. Mary's. Perfect location. Love that it's pet friendly, as my daughter had her dog in the downstairs unit. Comfy bed, beautiful setting. No elk sightings but wrong time of year. We'll be back next year!!!

Our stay

The bed was very comfortable. We had a nice fire on Saturday night. Places were easy to get to from this place where we needed to go. The only thing I was disappointed in was I don't have a bath tub at home and love my baths. So I was so excited that you had a bath tub and it was a whirlpool. But it didn't work! So that would have been very nice to enjoy. Everything else was very nice.

I'm so glad you enjoyed camp. My housekeeper sent me the nice comments you wrote in my camp book . She said about you saying you couldn't get the tub to work so I had her fill the tub up and try the jets. She sent me a video of it working. Maybe you didn't press the knob on enough. Last minute get away

We stayed at the camp for three nights. It was a last minute decision to take a small vacation and it was worth it. The camp has everything you need and you are close by stores so you can get whatever else you might want. Only thing is that we were more in town then we thought we were going to be. The neighborhood is quiet so you felt like you were out of town. So that was nice. We did a lot of fishing at different areas up and around the area so this was a perfect place located pretty much in the middle of anywhere we wanted to go. My boys loved it and so did their pup.

Family reunion

We had a family reunion 5 minutes from this property. I needed a place with a kitchen as I was cooking several things for our reunion. This property met our needs quite well. Our only complaint would be the beds downstairs. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable at least for adults. They might be ok for young children. The bed upstairs was very comfortable. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Love Nature

Had a great weekend of R&R and Elk viewing at this property that is close to Benezette Visitor Center yet the perfect distance away to just rest away from all the tourist activity. The home was comfortable, clean and had what we needed for a home away from home getaway. Very nice yard to relax and watch for wild life. We plan on returning for a longer stay to sit around the property and watch for wildlife as it rained quite a bit over the weekend we stayed. Another plus was that there is a Walmart just 15 mins away. Great property for Nature lovers to enjoy staying any Season of the year. So much to do in this area. Host was very pleasant and answered any questions we had.

Quick Trip

Jennifer was wonderful to work with. Unfortunately there were cleanliness issues with the property. The downstairs area is a garage with walls put up to make a bedroom, which is fine. However there were a lot of spider webs around. We used 2 of the beds, and the sheets did not appear to be washed. 5 pillow cases were checked and were without a doubt not washed between rentals.

Cleanliness

The house is not being adequately maintained between visitors. Upon arrival, we observed that the bathroom exhibited signs of poor cleanliness, with hair and other undesirable residues(urine & boogers) present on the sink, tub, and shower. Additionally, the sheets appeared to be unwashed, and the floors had not been properly swept throughout the house. I do not recommend this place until the owner corrects the issue with the housekeeper.

Quaint cabin with modern

Overall a very nice visit. Fridges cluttered from a previous use or owner. We brought very little and so just cleared our own shelves. We left the fridges as we found them. We were a bit worried about the heat outside but the ACs caught up in a few hours and it was a comfortable sleep. We only used the upstairs accommodations but the lower level also seemed fine. Shower was very nice upstairs. We did not use the Jacuzzi tub Bed was as comfortable as an away from home mattress gets. Some newer upgrades that show they are trying to dress it up. Would be a great group stay as it has a large open 1st floor set up for parties. This is an older house being remade so there is some old with the new. Kitchen island with stools. Outside options we did not use due to the weather The things that were a bit troubling was that some of the light switches had no function or were oddly wired and the gas stove burners did not light. We might have used the stove but had other options for breakfast. It's possible that the gas was shut off to the stove. The igniters sparked but we got no gas smell. The Gas water heater had no problems. Since it's an older building where previously wired choices may have made sense at one time, it's understandable. I would recommend labeling the switches. Ceiling fan in TV room did not work and had a nearby non working switch. This could've been our unfamiliarity with the pull chains and switches, but we gave up and used other lights.

Thanks for staying at my camp. I hope you had a great time. Thanks for letting me know about the fan switch. I have someone fixing it this week for me. I'll label the switches to make it easier for quests. My housekeeper did check the burners on the stove today and sent me a picture of all the burners working. Maybe it was just a fluke and they didn't want to work the day you was there. I do leave a few items in the fridge so everyone I go to camp I don't have to restock on butter , condiments etc. I have another fridge I would like to put at camp for just my items. Exploring Pennsylvania with friends

Overall as expected- simple but fine for our purposes. We had problem with wifi and had to use our own hotspot. It would have been nice if owner had cleaned out fridge space- Nothing that was a deal breaker - Basement room was simple and the space heater sure helped It was as described overall Thank you- we enjoyed our stay Pretty view
