You'll be Walkin' on Sunshine on Tybee Island when you stay at this adorable 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom cottage, located in the heart of Tybee Island, on Jones Avenue.

This ground level, easy access home has all you need for a turn-key vacation at the beach. Walk right into comfort with an all-new, updated, fully equipped kitchen with Quartz countertops, a Keurig coffee maker, and a large breakfast bar for a perfect start to your day. The living area is nicely furnished with a Queen-sized sleeper sofa and has a wall-mounted Smart TV for easy viewing. Enjoy a quick meal at the table for 6.

There are three bedrooms; each is furnished with a King-size bed and a Smart TV. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower combination and a stacked washer and dryer for guests' use. The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination.

Outside, there are a gas grill and a picnic table for dining outdoors, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. You will be located right across the street from Memorial Park which has a wonderful playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, and the Library and YMCA. This great mid-island location is within a short walk of several popular restaurants and is just 3 Blocks to the beach. This home is a great budget-friendly retreat for a couple or a small family vacation.

Issues all around

Let’s start with us not getting an access code to enter the home until 15 mins past check in time. That’s not acceptable. It’s a cute house but we specifically booked a two bathroom place and the guest toilet in this place wasn’t usable. We called to have it fixed. Maintenance came and plunged it. It stopped flushing again within hours. The garbage disposal didn’t work in the kitchen and that drain was blocked as well. Response from the manager is slow or none.

Short and sweet

Overall house is as advertised very clean and bright. Location was great ,2 blocks to walk to the beach and quick scenic 20 minutes or so drive in to any part of Savanna. Would recommend this to friends

Family of 7 Adults and one 3 year old

Overall cleanliness of property, sleeping accommodations and location were good. The home needs an updated heat pump that’s large enough to accommodate the house size. With all window units running, fans, and the thermostat being set to 70° the house stayed at an average of 78 to 79° during the day/evening. Bathtubs need mats or non-skid strips replaced. My husband (31 years old) slipped and fell on his back getting into the shower. My mother-in-law also slipped and almost fell in the hallway bathroom but was able to catch herself in time. We would use this property rental company again, but hope these issues will be addressed. Especially adding a nonslip item to the bathtubs for safety

great stay in Tybee

this house was fine for our family of 4 - bedrooms were comfortable and clean, kitchen fully stocked, nice backyard. Watch out for the prickly's in the frontyard!

Small but comfortable

This was a great property to stay at. Very tastefully decorated with beachy memorabilia without being too cheesy. I wasn’t sure the blue walls were gonna be all that calming but they look better in person. The updated hardwood look laminate is very nice. The smaller bathroom is newly updated and they did a good job with the keeping the update simple. I am deducting a star for cleanliness because the smaller bathroom did not drain well when taking a shower. When I looked inside the drain to see if something was obstructing it, I saw lots of hair left inside the drain. I would recommend the cleaning service to check the drains and make sure they are free of hair and debris. I think the property could benefit from a handheld shower head as well to wash sand down the drain. With the draining issues and no handheld shower head, we had to use a cup to rinse sand out of the tub. The larger bathroom looked original and it did look like some things could be replaced without a total renovation. The original tile was fine with some mild staining but the faucets and handles looked the original ones and were very old and worn. Bedding was tasteful and lots of lamps throughout for any kind of lighting. The air conditioner in the smallest bedroom was older and could not be turned off at night. We kept trying to turn it off and it would turn back on automatically and wake us up. It was a bit noisy. Couch was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was nicely updated even though it was a compact space and had everything we needed. The beds were a little bit high off the ground which made staying with a toddler challenging. Thankfully the smallest bedroom had a lower bed that the baby could get down from on their own. Furniture was all in good condition and a good combination of older and newer stuff. We will definitely consider this place again at our next stay! Within walking distance to the beach. Very convenient location. I would recommend the owner maybe provide some board games for stayers that aren’t that into watching TV! That would have been fun!

Could have been great

But the air conditioning did not function properly for our entire stay. It was just short of miserable to not be able to escape the heat. It’s summertime and the ac would not go below 75 at night and even at 75 degrees not much air was blowing out of the vents. During the day it would be around 80. Property management didn’t really offer much. I had to request fans be brought in. A technician did come out but he wasn’t much help. He said it would take a day for the house to cool down but it never did. They tried to rectify the problem and let me stay an additional night but we couldn’t last. It was just too uncomfortable. I felt bad as it was a surprise getaway for my boyfriends birthday. It sucks to be out all day in the heat only to come back to a hot and stuffy house. There is a window ac unit in one of the rooms. Kind of leads me to believe they know there is an AC problem. They should really put one in every room.

Perfect Spot!

This place was perfect for our group. A short walk to the beach and centrally located so we could walk either direction for dinner options. The rooms were spacious and everything was very clean. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect location, cute & clean home!

We had the best long-weekend trip with family in Tybee. We rented bikes and rode all around the island. The house was the perfect location for everything we needed. Will stay again!
