Lovely Waterfront Two Bedroom House
Lovely two bedroom, one bath in a rural residential area of McFarland on inlet that connects to Yahara River and Lake Kegonsa (house is not directly on lake or river). The home is situated next to a charming campground and marina in nature. Walkable fishing areas. Lake Kegonsa State Park Trail is nearby for walking or snowshoeing. Just a 15 minute drive to Madison! NO PARTIES. You will be asked to leave if there is any party activity seen.
My two bedroom home has one king bed and a bunk bed with a trundle bed. There is also sleeping space on the pull out couch in the living room. The home has a view out the back of a channel of water. There is Roku TV (no cable) in the living room and main bedroom. I also have a fully equipped kitchen with coffee and tea. There is not central air in the home, only window AC units and ceiling fans. Pets are NOT allowed. Smoking is NOT allowed. Only two vehicles are allowed.
*Check-In Details* I will meet you to give you a quick tutorial of my home and property and also give you the code for the keypad at this time.
Guests have access to entire house, except for garage. You may fish on the piers directly behind the house in the summer months. Do not walk on piers past where the RV trailers begin as it is private property. Do not walk on campground or campsites as it is private property and I don't own it. The owners will ask you to leave if you're on their property. Ice fishing is not allowed on the inlet. Guests are not allowed to walk on piers in winter months. Guests are not allowed to walk on ice. Please do not throw rocks on ice or water as it may cause damage to boats or props.
Additional guests that are not on the reservation are not allowed on the property. Visitors are not allowed on the property.
Boats and boat trailers are not allowed. We do not have a launch for kayaks, canoes, etc. There is a state of the art kayak launch just around the corner at Fish Camp County Park! Please let us know if you're planning on bringing any water equipment.
All types of trailers are not allowed on the property.
This house is very strict on loud parties. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Other people live on the property and there are neighbors so please keep voices low and music at a respectful volume.
All forms of smoking are not tolerated. Fireworks are not allowed.
Do not hang anything on walls or windows. This includes decorations, wall hangings, etc.
Do not leave fire table unattended. Make sure fire is out before leaving unattended. We happily offer the fire table for your enjoyment at no extra charge. Please note, if more than 50% of the propane tank is used during your stay, a $35 refill fee will be applied. Thank you for your understanding!
The house is designed for a small family with young children. 4 adults is the max allowed.
Copy of government issued ID for each guest may be required to book. Guests must be at least 25 years old to book.
