Great little cabin

This is the second time we have stayed here and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first time. I would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed in this adorable cabin while in town for my son's wedding. Beds were super comfortable and the house had so much character. Wonderful stay.

Peaceful lake cabin

Our family loved this place! Unique, clean and peaceful. The large back porch faced the forest perfect for relaxing with morning coffee. We would definitely come back!

Cute cabin!

The cabin was very nice and had all the amenities needed with the exception that the wifi was only strong enough for 1-2 of our devices at a time. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to relax. We wish we had an extra night so we could have used the hot tub and grill!

Thank you for your response! You are the first person to mention the WiFi service. This is a place to come to rest & relax down by the lake. If you are looking to run a gaming device (PlayStation or other modems), along with Netflix or stream other channels, along with multiple phones and/or devices, yes you may have a delay. I will say the service here is better than I have at my current home that’s located closer to town. Again, thank you for the feedback! I’m sorry you didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub and grill!! They are definitely an added bonus!! Have a great week!

Wonderful

This was a very relazing, quiet place to stay. Very clean and so pretty. There was knocking on the walls and on the roof a lot, but probably a squirrel. But we enjoyed it very much!! The owner was awesome with any questions i had!!

Amazing!!

We had an amazing time at this cabin. It had everything you could ever ask for! The upstairs has its own air conditioner, downstairs you have the hot tub and awesome back deck area, there’s a washer and dryer which was pretty convenient since we spent a lot of time at the river. We grilled out every night we were there, despite the rain! The couches and chairs are like a cloud to lay on, the beds are amazingly comfortable as well! I slept better in the beds there than I do at my own home! Thank you Amanda for providing such an amazing place to stay, my family and I made awesome memories and we will be back again!

A cabin worth reviewing!

My wife and I stayed at this property for the past week and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The tl’dr version is – WONDERFUL property, clean, great location and we highly recommend. For those who want a more in-depth review: Location This property is secluded but not too secluded. It’s located in a small lakeside neighborhood and easy to get to. It’s within 15 minutes of Wal-Mart and 15 minutes from the state marina. There are some nice local restaurants nearby and it’s around an hour or so from Mammoth Cave. There’s parking on-site if you bring a boat. The Property/Amenities Amanda has done a wonderful job of making sure the cabin is stocked with most everything you need. There are plenty of towels, dishes, and bed sheets. The cabin also has a washer and dryer so no need to over-pack. The internet was super-fast – no problems with connectivity (although cell service can be hit or miss). It also has a nice hot tub and a perfectly placed firepit. The grill is in super good condition (better than my grill at home!). The cabin was super clean and, for those of you who might come in the heat of the summer wondering if the AC can keep up, there was no problem. The daily temperature while we where there was 95 – 100 and the cabin stayed comfortable. Upstairs was a little warmer but there is a window AC unit upstairs. The beds were super comfortable, water was hot and overall, we had no complaints with the amenities. Boating/Fishing If you are coming to fish, there is a boat ramp roughly a mile from the cabin where you can also bank fish. In addition to that ramp, the state marina and a local marina are nearby making getting to (and in!) the lake easy. This is a cabin my wife and I will definitely be staying at again. Amanda is a wonderful, very responsive host and this was a visit we were sad when it was over.

Nice getaway

This property was perfect for our low key weekend getaway. The property updates and amenities were better than expected. Overall it was very clean but maybe could use a deep cleaning (dust under beds etc). The neighbors are kind of close. If they’d been home we would’ve worried about our music and talking bothering them and vice versa. I would definitely recommend and we are planning our next annual stay.

Will stay here again. Beautiful property

We loved the location and the cabin. We brought our boat, there is a boat ramp about a mile away. The owner, Amanda, is great. She responded quickly to messages and very informative. The pictures provided do not do this place justice. We walked in the door and it's so roomy and awesome. The upstairs has 2 beds and a full bathroom, downstairs is 2 bedroom and a full bathroom. The beds were comfortable. I loved the kitchen. Has a island with a stove (I want one now lol) The back porch is partially covered and with table.and chairs. We sat out back each night and enjoyed the nice weather and night bug sounds. The fire pit is huge, and we enjoyed making smores 😃. I could go on and on with nothing but positive feedback. We recommend this place and hope to stay again next year.

Wonderful!

We rented this cabin during Fall Break and it was awesome. So close to the boat ramp, our boys enjoyed fishing, walking around the small quiet neighborhood, and the outside space was nice also. Amanda is an awesome host and was very helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommend.

Great place for a small family reunion dinner. Especially if your family lives nearby.

Great back porch, nice open kitchen/living room. TV quality is awesome! Kitchen had everything you need. Quiet location and 20 min to two Walmart’s. So close to the boat ramp. The only negative was the hot tub needed some loving.

Great cabin with everything you need for a getaway

Amanda was a great host and her place was fantastic for our family getaway weekend. It had all the updated appliances you would need and plenty of room inside and out. The beds and couches were also very comfortable. The huge partially covered back deck was great for hanging out. The hot tub and fire pit were both great to have as well. She was great with communication, both before and during our stay. The setting was quiet, backing up against the woods, but was only a short drive away from the boat ramp and the marina if you’re looking to rent a boat. Highly recommend!

Very enjoyable stay at the cabin. We had a WiFi question and Amanda was right on it.

Wonderful experience with our children and grandchildren!! Very nice cabin which is well equipped!! Enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. Beds very comfy!! Had a little plumbing problem but Amanda said she was looking into solving that problem Would definitely rent against

AWESOME!

The accommodations were wonderful! The beds were very comfortable! We have experienced some locations where the mattresses are not so good, but we all were very comfortable. The outside deck was so relaxing. We grilled two nights and the grill is very nice. After being on the lake all day, the hot tub was very relaxing too. We plan to go back!

Great location and beautiful property too!

We got to enjoy a pontoon ride that we rented just about 15 minutes away from the cabin! We also went to the beach the next day at another close location about 15 minutes the other direction! The cabin on the inside and outside is spacious and beautiful! We loved it and hope to come back again! The owner was very quick to help and respond with anything!
