This lovely renovated 1950's Lakefront Cottage is a perfect romantic get away. It boasts an open floor plan with kitchen chandelier, large tv and queen size bed you will be in heaven. A cozy interior with white plank flooring leading to the perfect perch of a deck just waiting for a morning cup of coffee and a good book. Bring a friend or have the perfect place to recharge your batteries. You can work from your laptop or cook on the outdoor gas grill. You will want to return to scenic Lake Beseck! We are asking for adult rentals only 25 yo and over please.

This lakefront cottage is so cute! The place was spotless/super clean with a sharp white theme and multiple extremely comfortable options to relax and enjoy the gorgeous lake view!! The bed was comfy, the two chairs by the French doors were especially comfortable and the ambiance was just perfection for a relaxing lake vacation. The property was kept very well and we had everything we needed for our stay! The private deck/balcony with two different types of seating options was a wonderful accommodation that we took advantage of as much as possible! The property manager was very communicative and friendly any time I had questions and answered promptly thru the Vrbo app/account. I’d highly recommend staying at this beautiful cottage at Baileyville in Plainfield and just might book it again in a couple years!! Lake Beseck is also a big lake with breathtaking views and we even spotted an eagle flying above twice in our stay!

The cottage is as clean and bright and white as the pictures show. The only outdated photo is the loveseat with the chaise. There is a small loveseat, no chaise. The kitchen is set up for simple meal prep. The bathroom has only a shower stall which could be tight for a larger person. The view of the lake is unobstructed from inside the cottage and from the deck. There is also a dock to sit out on. Bring your own beach towels. The sun beats on the cottage during the afternoon, and there is an AC unit if you need to cool it down. The allotted parking space is under a big tree so expect to go to the car wash when you get home. The lake buzzes during the day and evening with small watercraft and is quiet at night. The location is convenient to food markets, restaurants, pharmacies, parks and golf courses. Check in was easy with the key available in a lockbox. The property manager, Dee, responded promptly to messages sent through the VRBO app. It is a lovely slice of paradise.

No acceptable bed pillows. One was too thin and the other bumpy and lumpy. The top sheet was skimpy , so uncomfortable to use. No extra blankets. No hangers or a place to hang clothes.

What’s not to love!

Better than advertised: Vrbo doesn’t let you smell the crisp fresh air, hear the birds chirping or watch the chipmunks scurrying It was charming, easy to check in/out. We had a few questions during our stay; Dee responded promptly + cheerfully.

Lake Get Away

Cottage on the property was quaint and cozy. Very Clean and bright. Lake was nice and loved watching the activity on it. Only small issue was wall unit air conditioner was a bit loud
. We definitely would rent again!

Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It was so clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The views and sunsets from the deck were peaceful and beautiful. So relaxing! We would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful views

Check in was easy. The overall look of the cottage was clean we had a couple of issues. The view was beautiful and it was quiet and relaxing during our stay. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks running around. The bed was very comfortable and kitchen equipped with most things we needed.

My wife and I live 40 mins from this location and had such a blast celebrating my bday here. If felt like we were out of state. Well worth a weekend stay, 10/10 will do again.

Beautiful view

This cabin is cute and recently updated. We were happy the other cabins werent occupied so we were able to relax by ourselves. We enjoyed the firepit as well as the dock for fishing (caught 8 fish) and swimming. We will certainly stay again!
