House was clean and in a great location. Home owner did a great job of communication. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. One complain is the lack of provided toiletries such as body wash, shampoo, etc.

Perfect Rental!

Our entire group agreed that the owners of the Barefoot Bungalow had thought of everything. We all slept comfortably and had everything we needed to have a great stay. I can’t recommend this rental highly enough!

Beautiful house close to the beach!

We loved the size and location of this property. The house was well-appointed, and we had everything we needed down to the beach towels and cooler. It was a wonderful (and short!) walk to the beach. We enjoyed it!

Fantastic Vacation Property!!

Perfect size and close to beach

Was the perfect size house for us! They had all the beach supplies for you and the beach wagon was the best and so helpful when walking to the beach! Not in a congested part at all! So it was nice that we could get to and from beach house easy with no traffic. Drive a little down and orange beach is there as well and then flor-bama that was a little plus. We will definitely be booking again with them!

Felt like home

The house was exactly as described,contact with the owners was top notch.The house was beautiful and very clean.The kitchen had everything you needed, but the absolute best was that the house came with beach equipment->a huge beach cart, chairs, umbrellas AND beach towels.All stuff we didn’t have to pack!! Thank you for having us, we had a great time!

Lovely house!

We had a lovely but brief stay at Barefoot Bungalow. The house is clean and tastefully decorated. Sarah and Emile were attentive and easy to work with. Beach access is truly a minute walk and it is a gorgeous beach! Pool is small so difficult to access if another party is already there, but appeared clean and nice. Very comfortable beds and great attention to detail. Fit our family of 5 (3 teenagers) very comfortably. Would definitely come back and stay longer to take advantage of the space and games! Awesome House, Awesome Hosts, Awesome Accommodations

Our family stayed at the Barefoot Bungalow and were impressed with all the accommodations the hosts had thought of. The house was beautiful and was stocked with all the kitchen items you would need to include your basic spices, coffee, creamer, etc. The bedrooms each had their own bathroom and they even had a crib and pack and play and fun board games and card games for everyone. The beach cart with sand toys, boogie boards, shovels, cooler, umbrellas, etc was amazing. The hosts also shared their favorite places to eat and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The area was beautiful and there is so much to do here for all ages! We were able to walk to the shops and walk to the Sunliner Diner (must visit). We had the best time and are so thankful to have such a wonderful place to stay for the week!

Beach house

House is nice and looked like it does in the photos. Close to the beach. Owner checked in a few times. All of the extra amenities were appreciated (beach chairs, towels, laundry detergent, etc). There was an issue with the fridge and the owner was quick to have someone to come out to look at it, but it couldn't be fixed until after we left. When we chose this house, we assumed that this neighborhood/development going to a quieter/family type neighborhood (since must be 25 years old to rent and had rules such as no parties, quiet after 10p), but a few of the houses on the row were rented to college-aged spring breakers. So it was loud until about 1 or 2am some nights, and we chose not to use the large deck b/c of this. But I understand the owner of this house does not have control over who rents the other houses. Overall it was a nice house and quick walk to the beach and some shops.

Safety issues

Got to the house, heat was off and it was 44 degrees, water was also turned off. Was able to get things turned back on, so thought we were good to go. About 90 minutes later, circuit breaker pops and half the lights downstairs go out. We check the panel and it can’t be reset and the two breakers for the ACU are HOT to the touch. I tried to contact the owners/agencies but was only able to get someone via text. They assure me it’s not an issue, but someone will come look. An hour later their handyman arrives (I’ll add another breaker popped twice during the hour we weee waiting, the one for the room where our 3 year old was sleeping). He also assures me it’s not an issue and we’re perfectly safe. He says he can remove the “bad breakers” if I really want, to which I say yes please. He starts looking at them then leaves saying. “I’ll try to get you guys out of here” meanwhile the panel is smoking. They were nice enough to let us stay in another property, which is fine, but it wouldn’t have been an issue if proper maintainence had been done on the house in the first place. If I hadn’t insisted on him coming to look and removing the breakers, it would have been a real safety issue for my family. After we moved, they didn’t say anything the rest of the weekend or follow up with anything other than automated messages. Overall just didn’t seem to care

Amazing for family with infant!

This was an amazing place to take my family. I have a 5 month old and this place had everything we needed. No packing a pak n play or high chair they had it all. We will be back next year for sure.
